this hotel has an amazing view (i really recommend to have breakfast at the terrace), very helpful and friendly staffs (they are one of the most friendly staffs i've ever met), good food, easy transportation (the commute boat from tiga raja stop in front of the hotel every 1 hour). highly recommended.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The flaw in the room was just that the faucet in the bathroom was a bit broken. After all, the best thing about this hotel was first, the swimming pool was precisely near the lake. I could just sit near the swimming pool and enjoy the view of Lake Toba. It was wonderful. Second, if you want to go to Parapat, you can book a ticket for a boat that is scheduled to go there. The boat parked in front of the hotel's swimming pool. The staff at the receptionist was so informative about this, it was extremely helpful for me. (I would've gone to a farther port if he didn't talk about this). Thanks to him! However, the hotel was quite barren. The hotel was huge, but I could hardly see plants or trees anywhere, so it was pretty uncomfortable to walk or sit around the hotel at midday. Another thing that I disliked about this hotel was that they had a music group that sang songs extremely loudly at the restaurant from around 8 pm-11 pm. My room was near the restaurant, it was quite disturbing for people who wanted to rest after a tiring day, enjoy their dinner at the restaurant, or do online work.

Samosir Cottages Resort
I hate when the hotel has no strict regulation, the customers is very loud singing and karokeing till 10.00pm which is I need to rest early to catch the ferry and theres lots of kiddos nearby our room was crying maybe cause too loud, the reception has no respon about this and ask me to be patient instead of ask them to stop the party in the middle of the hotel location.

Samosir Villa Resort
This is not my first time staying at this hotel, good place to stay with good food and I can spend sometime for swimming with my kids.
Areas to improve:
1. The selection of breakfast meals, mostly fry and fry, like fried rice, fried noodles. need more selection.
2. The bed frame needs to be fixed or replacd, it's going to be collapsed if you don't take immediate action, too noisy.
3. At 2-3 am in early morning, I heard residents shouting outside the door and too noisy, we could not sleep, there should be security officers walk around to ensure no one make a noise after 10pm.
4. The water faucet at handwash sink, it needs to repair, can't closed. Please save water.
The rest was good.
Good receptionist and waiter, waitress.
Will recommend this hotel with my family and friends.

Parbaba Beach Hotel
Well, I have to be honest, the price rate is overpriced compared to others hotel can offer with same price rate at other place. Room is not clean especially the bed sheet. And one thing ta make make me disgusting is that there is still some shit/poop left in the bathroom toilet when we come check in. I hate to write this but I hope there is development. Because I'm from samosir and I'd love to see it grows.

Judita Cottage
There are no Ceiling Fan in the room as it gets hot during the day time. There is a receptionist counter but no one there. As it ' s a family run business the owner lives opposite the cottage you have to walk across to the owners house and call for the Lady. But the place is clean, I believe you can find better places than judita cotage.
