The hotel's location is quite remote (up a hill), but once you reach the top, the beautiful view makes up for it. This is my second time here. Highly recommended for those looking for a staycation. The place is comfortable, the price is affordable, the views are beautiful, the service is excellent, and the check-in and check-out processes are fast.

The uphill journey to the hotel is quite long, but it is worth it with the beautiful view and the friendliness of the hotel staff. The day I stayed, there was also a hotel anniversary event, so the atmosphere was quite lively and the noise from outside was quite audible in the room.

I stayed here after work and also had a staycation with my wife. But I wasn't satisfied with the price of 1.1 million rupiah per night. You could have found a better hotel. When I checked in, I was a bit confused about the room type. I booked a junior suite with a valley view. The staff told me it was a garden view. They said it was the same, just a different name on Traveloka. I left my lighter in my car, but it was parked far away and used the valley view. I wanted to get it to my car, but they said it was far away. Finally, I lent it to a friend of the receptionist. But they told me to return it, sir. It wasn't anything special. It was obvious the staff was inexperienced and didn't want to be bothered. Finally, I got to my room. But it wasn't very clean: the cupboard was dusty, and the water boiler was dirty. I asked for the water boiler to be replaced. They did, but it was still just as dirty. I ended up washing it myself. Luckily, the mattress was clean and comfortable. I'm a bit confused, with a 4-star rating, but our experience was like this. Maybe we were just unlucky. But I don't want to stay here again.

The road leading to the hotel is narrow and in poor condition. Cleanliness is lacking , there was dirt in front of our door that wasn’t cleaned for a long time, and the pool was dirty. The receptionist was also not very friendly. Overall, it was a disappointing stay.

Looking for a place to stay for clients in Bandung, Clove Garden Hotel is a very attractive option. Access to the hotel is relatively easy, and the most striking feature is its view. At night, the view of Bandung is truly beautiful, with its clear city lights. In the morning, the blend of city and nature feels seamless, creating a calming and refreshing atmosphere. The rooms and hotel area are quite comfortable. The breakfast selection is good, although the taste could be improved a bit to make it even more enjoyable. Stayed 2 nights in a junior suite. Everything was calculated: -One extra bottle of drinking water required a charge. -One extra towel required a charge. -Wi-Fi was difficult and often went out. -The restaurant was crowded like a market (unprepared, not considering the number of guests and capacity, and there was no need to add a stove and an egg-cooking staff). On the second day, the menu was even more limited. There was no communication between reception and the restaurant (after complaining, the receptionist said they could ask for water at the restaurant, but they refused). So it seemed like the reception was just avoiding conflict and ping-ponging customers. The staff were stiff, like dry chamois. Even though we communicated nicely, they still stuck to the rules, even though the room we booked was a junior suite, not a deluxe or superior room. They only gave us two 303ml bottles of water, similar to a glass of Aqua. I also asked for towels to keep the room and furniture clean from the kids swimming. Just two days after the review was posted on Google, a staff member or someone came to my room and offered me a light meal for the kids (I didn't take it) and two coffee vouchers. I'm a Platinum member on Traveloka, and I'm also a Diamond VIP on Agoda. You can see from the reviews whether I've ever had a complaint like this, if it wasn't excessive. This is the first time I've seen a hotel so considerate of customers regarding drinking water and towels. I'm just reviewing it as it is. There are many hotels in Bandung, and this is the last time I'll be at Hotel Clove (it's okay if they blacklist me). Thanks.
