Gioberti Art Hotel

It was a nice place with great staff. The rooms were a little small. The greatest complaint was that there was frequently almost no hot water for showers. The breakfast was decent, but it was the same every morning. No variation, so it became a bit monotonous.

Breakfast was good for a tourist hotel and you can’t fault the location

Great breakfast options. Staff was friendly and room was modern. Taking a shower between 7-9 am resulted in lukewarm water temperature only. A non skid bath mat would have made me feel more comfortable bathing as floor of tub was slippery.

Overall, the room was clean and modern and the bed was very comfortable. However, the surrounding area is very noisy and it was difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the breakfast was not worth the price as the only hot food available were scrambled eggs and sausages—literally nothing else. Other than that, there were some cold cuts and sweets. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel for your stay in Rome.

The breakfast is decent. Staff is friendly. Location is need the train station, which is a bonus.

We didn’t have hot water during our stay. Also, the tv didn’t work during our stay. You get charged 90 euros because of foreigners tax.

Our stay at the hotel was average and did not meet our expectations. Even though we kept the windows tightly closed, there was significant noise coming from outside, which made it difficult to rest and sleep properly. In addition, the main issue was the hot water. Our room was on the 5th floor, and the water in the shower was not hot enough, which was very disappointing and affected our overall comfort. Furthermore, the location of the hotel felt somewhat unsettling. The surrounding area seemed a bit questionable and did not give us a strong sense of safety, especially in the evening. Overall, we expected a higher standard for the price.

We were obviously upgraded, probably because it was off season, so we had a large room with a large round bed, large tub separate from the bathroom and shower. The Gioberti Art Hotel, across the street from the older Gioberti Hotel, is in an older building, but is very modern inside, completely renovated. Lots of great amenities and the front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. Only a block from the central train station and transit center it made getting around town on public transit very easy. Near the train station is where the two Metro (subway) lines intersect, again allowing for easy transit. Daily maid service was very nice as was the large, modern shower and bathroom fixtures. Overall, a very nice hotel for a reasonable price in the center of Rome.

We have never stayed at a hotel in our live with such a filthy hotel bathroom (#300). In addition, we were switched three times within 2 days- the first room (#407) had no hot water, so they switched us to #500 but said it's only for one night because it won't be available the next day, but promised us that we will get an equivalent room of #406 (room we booked and paid but never got it). When we came back from sightseeing, we got room #300 (pictures). It's so late so we could only bear with it- the next day in the morning we demanded talking to the manager. The manager on duty came to the room and saw the issues I pointed out (electrical panel next to the bed, the dirty wall, and the dirtiest hotel bathroom we have ever experienced in our travel history), but he did not think they were the issues at all. He said "so this is the issue?" and said he won't change our room, but will have cleaners clean the bathroom. By the time we came back at night, the bathroom was exactly the same filthiness as before (pictures were taken from a video I made at that time). We paid for 4 nights and stayed only 2 nights because this was a serious health hazard issue. Please issue a refund.

The staff were very friendly & helpful! Our room was clean, comfortable & quiet. Breakfast was great—plenty of options. The hotel is conveniently located by the train station which made it easy to get around.

The staff was friendly and helpful. However the location was so noisy. The vendors on be street were yelling and playing music until 3am most nights. And while its location is super convenient near the train station, that comes with a price of safety and noise. Also the gym was definitely moldy.
