Gioberti Art Hotel

I liked everything about this hotel! I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to come to Tokyo. It was amazing!

Breakfast was a welcome inclusion, air conditioning was a little underpowered but was OK for mid 20c. Location was excellent

The hotel is nice enough and everything was as expected except for the area…. Good centric location but way too close to the Termini Yrain station of Rome. I was not aware but that meant that there are at all times all sort of people that do not make you feel secure, specially at night. In few words a good hotel in the wrong location

Went downhill over the past few years. Stained walls. Sewage smell in basement. Room smelled awful. Staff were nice and switched to a room that didn’t smell.

The room was very clean and spacious. A very walkable neighborhood and was close to the Rome Termini station as well as the Hop-On, Hop-Off bus stops. We were advised not to be out after 10pm due to the darker side of the neighborhood being more present in the evenings. We were able to take the train from the airport and only have to walk a block to the hotel. The breakfast was very good and the staff in the room kept everything replenished and cleaned up after the diners had left. Scrambled eggs, sausage (wieners), cold cuts, cheese, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit and breads were a very nice bonus to the comfortable room provided. Front desk staff were able to come to give directions on how to properly use the shower.

Location is convenient, but NOT SAFE at all. Despite the fact that a lot of police and Army ( after 6 p.m.) are monitoring Termini, a lot of very dangerous people are walking around, getting into groups, screaming, etc. One night it was a fight right under hotel windows. Breakfast was mediocre. It was not hot water in the hotel not in the evening or morning. We let front desk know, they agreed that other people were reported the same, but nothing change at the next day. Bath tub is so high that to get there was very difficult.

Location is questionable. Did not feel safe at night.

Location is good. However, no hot water for shower that cannot be acceptable. The hotel needs 2 days to fix the problems. The room seems old style and also has musty because it is “old”. It is also noisy at night as well. Will not stay there anymore.

Very central location with great staff and facilities. Will certainly come back again.

Excellent location for public transportation Good breakfast compared with Holiday Inn Not a good shower setting; bathroom floor flooded due to no separation except shower curtain; no hot water during our 4 nights stay. They are planning replace the system per front desk

Just stayed a week at the Gioberti Art. Must say the location, a block from Termini is awesome especially as we had many rail day trips planned, arrived in Rome by train and were using the rail airport shuttle to leave. However, being next to train station means that it is in a less desirable part of town. Fine during the day, but at night you hear people screaming, fighting, bottles breaking. We felt safe but were annoyed at the outside noise. Couldn't open the window and the AC was so weak that our room was warmish. Breakfast is basic. Lots of bread, salad, a nutella dispenser, scrambled eggs, yoghurt and cake. Nothing special. Maid service was strange with the maid twice taking our bathrobes away so we had to ask for more at reception. Sometimes filled up tea and coffee, sometimes not. Our room was odd...there was a rainforest shower but no way to turn it on. Lots of scratches in the tub, big spot on the carpet, pain scratched off the wall. Room needs some light maintenance. Other rooms might be different. Finally just a big thank you to the Italian woman with curly black hair who works at the reception for being so kind and helpful when we checked in. Would we return? Maybe, because of the location, but would also shop around something a bit nicer in a better neighbourhood

Great location. Our room was quite small, toilet was broken and wouldn't flush, no hot water over the 2 day stay and baseboards were all swelled up from previous water damage. I was slightly disappointing considering the cost of the room - it was not cheap.
