Staff were great. The hotel is lovely in lobby but rooms need a little attention. They are a little tired, in need of some refurbishment. It was a glorious hotel twenty years ago sliding into not so much.

Nice big hotel, close to the main station. Basic room I had was very spacious with good bed and bedding. Large selection at breakfast. Only downside was the room was a connecting room, could hear very clearly the guest next door due to only a normal door separating the rooms, not soundproof at all.

Very nice hotel that’s close to the center and close to the train station.We stayed 3 nights , had a good breakfast and had a place to park the rental car. We had a Nice spacious room with modern amenities. I would stay here again.

Internet was non-existent. You had to stand in the passage to get a connection. Once inside room where was nothing. Even if you sat in the lobby there was only intermittent access. Had better connection in the deserts of Morrocco.

About 10 min walk to Piazza Bra and the Arena and another 10 min walk to Juliette’s House and the letter wall. Great shops along the way and many restaurants to choose from. The hotel is a little older, but well kept. An annoying shower head but not a big seal. Large assortment at breakfast. Overall we thought it was good value, not a long walk to the center. Taxi from train station was 12 euro but it was 16 to get back to the station. It’s close enough to walk, but it was 33 degrees and sunny and we didn’t want to haul our luggage!

Overall good experience. Very good VFM. Hotel and room clean and spacious. Comfy bed, bathroom all good. Staff and breakfast good. Only negative was air conditioning leaked water into wardrobe, moved clothes into adjoining wardrobe so no real problem. The hotel is quite dated but has charm and is clean and comfortable. Was dubious before my arrival but was very pleasantly surprised. 15 minute flat walk to centre of Verona and 5/10 minutes to train and bus station. Very busy roads to cross though.
