Recommended hotel to stay if you want to travel around Venice compared with the main hotel in the island, which is more expensive, small, and old. Very, very good location just in front of Mestre Station, one step to the main lagoon to Venice, less than 10 minutes with the local train which goes back and forth every 10 minutes. The hotel is quite new, big and spacious room, nice complete breakfast, nice local food in the restaurant, and very nice people in the reception. Definitely will stay here for the next visit!

l've stayed at the Plaza several times over the last four years. Of all the rooms I've had here, this room was by far the most in need of updating and renovation. The hotel's location is great for access to Venice, the Cortina bus, and the airport, but rooms are more hit-or-miss than I had known. Given that the off-season rates are great and the breakfast is also very good, l'd still recommend the hotel, just not as strongly as I have in the past.

Good Breakfast, tasty food and good selection. Parking is not included, additional $14EU to park in a parking lot behind the hotel, but every convenient if traveling to Venice for a day trip, you can leave the car there with no extra charge

Opened the window as room very stuffy then couldn't close it. Both drains in the bathroom extremely slow to drain. Cockroach on the bed. Some items in the room very dated. Much smaller room than the website indicates

Location was very convenient. It's right across the Mestre train station. Bus stop to/from the airport and Venice is also in front of the hotel. Not so beautiful ambient around the hotel (next to the station), however we didn't worried about it since the bus stop is less than 1min by foot. Our triple room was very spacious. The building itself was a bit aged, but the room was very cleaned. Receptionists were nice and friendly. The breakfast was pretty good and wide selections.

It is a standard hotel. I picked for the convenience to the train station. No luxury, but it did the job. The staff was excellent. We arrived early, and they were really good with our luggages. They were also excellent with arranging private taxies.

The location was excellent, staff responsive, the breakfast was great but several maintenance issues required attention: 1. The bathroom drain emitted an unpleasant odor, though it was promptly cleaned after we reported it. 2. We noticed two bugs in the bathroom; staff sprayed the area and resolved the issue quickly. 3. The bathroom window was not securely attached and could detach if opened fully. This was reported at checkout. 4. The mattress became uncomfortable and collapsed by the third night; the issue was also reported. 5. Ongoing construction beneath our window caused significant noise, which had not been disclosed prior to our stay. 6. The shower curtain did not adequately prevent water from spilling onto the bathroom floor, so we had to be careful to keep water from flowing into the room beneath the door.
