The hotel’s location was very poor and made getting around difficult. Unfortunately, the stay was further ruined by a bedbug issue in the room, which caused discomfort and distress. This experience fell far below reasonable expectations, and I would strongly caution others before booking.

The bedroom looked clean and spacious, but the smell was unbearable, smelled like chemical, filled with the whole room. Had to look for another hotel on site. How come no one talks about the strong smell?? The neighborhood is a homeless area, but didn't feel unsafe, streets are just not that clean.

The staff wasn’t welcoming at all. When we mentioned that our room with four people was hot/stuffy, they simply said there was no AC in the winter time and told us to open the windows — even though there were no screens. The alley outside was very loud and the room was right under the train, with noise throughout the night. The pillows didn’t even feel like real pillows. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Overall this place is not bad, but we found bedbugs in our room, which ruined the whole experience for us. The hotel staff were very apologetic and moved us to a different room, but the new room was in a different building and didn’t have a shower room. There are coin-operated laundry machines, but they are expensive and the dryers are weak; we had to run drying cycles multiple times to properly dry our clothes. The hotel is also in a bit of a seedy area. Nothing bad happened to us but we felt uncomfortable walking around at night.

The hotel was very minimalist. We had a bathroom in our room, but there was no soap which was a little inconvenient. No shower in our room but there was a shared shower and large sink on every floor. Location is close to many different trains. The location is a little sketchy. Many homeless people sleeping on the streets at night. One night walking back to the hotel I saw a man peeing on the wall. The next morning I got cat called at. If you’re ok with paying less and being uncomfortable then this the place for you.

The area was honestly not the best. Both looks and safety wise, it was definitely within walking distance of a train station but the walk between the hotel and the station definitely didn’t feel safe to walk around at night. The hotel room itself was big enough for 5 people but it had a slight smell to it that would not go away after 6 days of keeping a window open. I accidentally checked out late, and when I was called by the hotel staff I informed them that I would be at the hotel within a certain time to collect my items so they could clean it for the next guest. However they kept calling me to rush me back even after I sent them messages and answered calls about what time I would be back. I recognize that I was at fault for my late checkout however the way that whole situation was handled by the staff was definitely off putting. I wouldn’t stay again as a solo traveler or even a group traveler.

The beds were decently comfortable, but the pillows were too small for me and not super comfortable. The AC in our room worked off and on while we were there but luckily we were able to open the windows as it was cool outside at night to cool down the hotel room.

Located in a more run down area of Osaka, place could be described more as a hostel than a hotel or apartment. Amentities: Minimal for a hotel. Room, towel and shampoo/body wash only. There is shared microwave and kettle in the communal area, with tables for eating and enclosed outdoor seating where you can smoke. Cleaning is every 3 days. The single pillows we got were all lumpy, flat and they didn't have spare ones. Staff: Varying levels of politeness by staff. From "we are not a hotel" to greeting us each time they saw us. Staff seem to be on part-time working visas and spoke languages from Thai to Korean to Japanese. Most of them seemed to not have been there long enough to be familiar with the hotel policies and know where anything was. Location: Close 3min walk to a local train station that was only 3 stops to Namba hub. Area a bit run down with alit of older unemployed/retired people sitting around on the street. Felt a bit uncomfortable but this is quite normal in many suburban areas all over the world. Safe enough and they are probably just people watching as they pass time. Summary: If you just need a bed and on limit budget then this could be your place. Just bring a pillow. If you are expecting a hotel or apartment. Then I recommend finding somewhere else.

The hotel is basic but in good condition. Looks fairly new. The staff was very nice. Good value. The problem is that it’s right next to the railroad tracts and trains go by every 2-5 minutes from 5 am until midnight. There are a lot of homeless people around but they weren’t aggressive at all . We had a good stay. The rooms and bathrooms are big. I didn’t like the proximity to the trains because I’m a light sleeper.

Late check-in was definitely tricky even though we got an email with instructions. Luckily our driver from airport was able to help us get in, otherwise, everything else was great. Hotel was fine, clean, safe, although, thin walls. The amorous couple next door could be heard quite clearly which was a little sleep disruptive. Next time, we'll definitely try to plan to arrive in Osaka before 6pm.
