Breakfast buffet restaurant staff appeared disengaged. Need a little smile on their faces. The room (and perhaps the entire hotel) is in dire need of renovation as it is stuck in 1990’s look.

Positives: 1] Staff - I've stayed here several time and the staff is always welcoming and hospitable. 2] Onsite conveniences - onsite convenience store & restaurants. 3] Proximity to airport plus a free hotel shuttle 4] Shuttle to JR & AEON mall 5] Room conveniences & amenities - sufficient but not the best when compared to other Japanese hotels, inclusive of other Nikko hotels such as the one at the Osaka Airport. 6] Cleanliness - rooms and hotel premise are clean. 7] Room comfort - comfortable and relatively quiet. 8] Pricing - based on the size of the rooms & age, if you're getting the room for under $60 p/day that would be a fair price. Areas of improvement: 1] The rooms are fairly dated, BUT clean. 2] Room size - very small. 3] Room noise level - rooms are fairly quiet EXCEPT during this last stay the neighboring rooms had loud guests (kids & their parents yelling at them numerous times and each time for several minutes). This hotel is pretty busy, a lot of guests.

Second time staying at this hotel for one night between flights. It does what it's supposed to and haven't had any issues. There's a convenient shuttle to and from the hotel and airport Terminals 1 and 2/3. Will definitely stay here again!
