The check in process was super easy. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Close to Nijo Castle and there’s a Lawson in front the hotel if you want grab something at night.

The hotel was beautiful and so clean. Front desk attendants were professional, kind, and very helpful in answering all of our questions. They provided pajamas and slippers for in room use as they request all shoes be taken off and left at the door. We loved that the elevator opened straight to our room. The room was so spacious. We highly recommend as you will be very pleased.

We stayed in the penthouse suite at the top of the hotel and it was fabulous, I cannot recommend it enough. The interior is beautiful, the private hot tub was a bonus, and it was so clean and well presented. The staff were very helpful; they arranged our luggage transfer for us and were helpful with various queries. There is a tiny bar on the ground floor and we were also treated to a round of complimentary drinks as patrons of the hotel. In terms of location it is pretty good - 10 min walk from a metro station that connects directly with Kyoto Station; also there is a bus stop a couple of minutes walk away - we took the bus to get round Kyoto a lot, and found it to be very convenient. It was easy to get to the Golden Pavilion, Arashiyama bamboo forest and numerous temples. Thank you to the lovely staff; it was our favourite accommodation during our holiday in Japan.

I would highly recommend this place to stay in Kyoto. It is far enough from the hussle and bustle of the center of Kyoto, but also steps away from a bus stop to get everywhere. The front desk staff is very helpful. They are typically only available after 1500 at this establishment but you can message them at any time. They provided all the necessary toiletries and PJs! The only thing that may need to be fixed is the shower situation in the layout we stayed in. The water would always come out of the bath leaving a water puddle. But other that that everything was excellent. They even helped us out with our luggage sending! Would stay here again when coming back to Kyoto.

This was our favorite place we stayed in Japan. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment - it was spacious and modern and clean. we liked the location too - near the Niko-Jo place and Imperial Garden. Would recommend for a family traveling to Kyoto. Only downside is front desk is only open between 3-8pm but it didn’t pose a problem for us.

A comfortable room, however their was no one at the desk upon arrival despite arriving at 3pm. The contact number to call was 'disconnected', leaving us feeling quite anxious after a long day of travel. It was only by accident that our arrival was acknowledged and another guest assisted us.

Bed was comfy, things were clean and it was close to a train station, grocery store, park and restaurants. The bar was closed for the four nights we were there. The room was not cleaned or restocked with coffee or clean cups while we were there as the front desk is only staffed from 3-8pm.

The staff was kind and the room was clean with a lot of thoughtful details (free drink, slippers, nice bathroom amenities). The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was due to there being essentially no heat except a stand alone heater that didn’t work well, leaving it quite cold in the room. In addition, the room was VERY dark and small.

This is an excellent hotel for business and pleasure. The shower and the toilet are in separate rooms and have noise cancellation. The room is spacious and has high-quality amenities. It is close by to many stores and restaurants. It is within walking distance of the train and is easily accessed. The staff/hotel is staffed during check-in hours. Make sure that you let the hotel know that you will need to drop off bags prior to check-in or you'll be lugging them around town like us. Otherwise, no complaints at all.

The hotel location was at a convenient location. Walkable streets for grabbig snacks, dining and subway transportation. We interacted with staff just upon checkin as they were not present at the front desk. The upstairs hot tub was not clean; had hair left from previous guests. Other than that, amazing.

Kind and helpful staff, room is spacious, but a bit too dark. Only a few spotlights in an already very dark room, making it a bit difficult to even see things. Hotel is located in the Marutamachi avenue, near a train station and many bus stops, making it easy to move around the city.
