The staff were wonderful.

This was the second time staying at the hotel and for some reason, I didn't enjoy it as much as I did the first time around. For starters, I woke up groggy every morning because the pillows were ridiculous. I got headaches from it. Secondly, the staff weren't as nice as they were on my first stay. Also, please please please clean the mold on the bathroom sink! It's literally black mold that you cannot miss when you walk into the bathroom. I'm definitely not going to stay here again.

Room was very clean, staff very friendly, about 25 minutes walk to the shibuya crossing.i do not recommend the breakfast.

The staff members at this hotel were excellent. They were professional and friendly. The hotel itself is showing signs of age, but there was a sense of nostalgia. For example, having the actual key verse key card, which had to dropped off each time you left the hotel. My room was fine, but there issues with other two rooms. The bedding had to be changed, as there were two large stains. The other room had issues with the shower and sink. The location was great. It was a few minutes walk from the Shibuya Scramble, but quite. There were a lot of small eateries and good shopping nearby. We were able to go on a pleasant walk in the neighborhood.

This was stop number 1 during my younger brother's recent 30th birthday trip to Japan (3/13-3/23). I did a decent amount of research on different areas around Tokyo since this was our first time visiting, and this hotel had positive reviews regarding location to stations and whatnot. What actually surprised me, however, was the distance from Scramble Crossing. It was close to 10pm or so local time once we checked in - a very smooth process - and we immediately headed out to peruse the area and see what was around for the next day. We weren't walking 5 minutes before I realised we were smack dab in the middle of the most popular part of the city! The hotel itself is tucked away in a quiet block just far enough from the hustle and bustle to keep outside noise to a minimum. While the room is on the smaller side, it was perfect for us as we were only 2 people (and he's a bigger guy - 6'3" and 280lbs). The building seems older, but several things have been revamped giving it a classic air without anything falling apart. Something I was not used to was dropping the key at the front desk anytime you left the property. They hold your key and upon re-entry most often the front desk employee recognizes you and hands it back without issue. Towels, toiletries, and water were replenished each day and communication was easy. We would choose to stay here again in a heartbeat! Don't pass this gem up if you get the chance :)

Great location, great service and housekeeping

Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Amenities were plentyful with tea, coffee and water included. Hotel is older but well maintained. Would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Shibuya.

I think the best thing about this property was the location. Not too far from the station and shopping and the street that leads to it is quiet and has some fantastic little restaurants and bars. Staff are friendly and helpful and our room was cleaned every day without request.

Booked this hotel about three days before arrival so of the limited options available it seemed the best. Hotel is outside the hubbub of Shibuya but walkable. The staff were lovely and helpful- 10/10. The room was much much smaller the one we stayed in for less in Shinjuku earlier in the week and, as others have noted, in need of an update. Given my late booking it served its purpose and was glad we only needed it for one night.

The staff was a great help. One of the staff member was fluent in English. Which was a big plus for me.

Nice hotel to stay in that was close to everything in Shibuya, but quiet enough to relax once getting back. Front desk staff was attentive and always available.

Very welcoming, they allowed us to checkin early, which was great too. It’s a little dated, but it was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
