Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro

Room was spacious. Love the residential home where I can cook and use the microwave. Also the washing machine was a life saver. Highly recommend and location is easy to navigate. The only down side is that house cleaning cost money. Should be included but I see why for ‘residential’ purpose.

A perfect 10 out of 10 it was spacious and very clean. Staff was also wonderful. Would go back again.

The English Skills of among staffs vary a lot

The staff were nice and the room was clean and well designed.

The washer and dryer was a game changer, clean rooms, very friendly staff that also spoke English, great location, great restaurants nearby, very close to the train station, I have no complaints with this accommodation

The room is small but clean. It had a microwave and washer/dryer in the room so very convenient. It’s near various entrances/exits of Ikebukuro Station. Overall I’d stay here again.

Besides the clean room and accessibility to nearby shopping and transportation, the entire experience from check in, our stay and check out were great. The amenities like washer/dryer machine and water dispenser, for example, also contributed to the comfort of our stay at the hotel. Will definitely return to Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro in our next holiday at Tokyo!

After a few days in capsule hotels, Tokyo Stay Ikebukuro had great amenities with a convenient location to the station. Having my own laundry machine in unit with an actual fridge and microwave was amazing. The staff was always kind and helpful whenever I needed anything. Would definitely book again if whenever I’m in Tokyo.

Overall excellent. First time experience to collect breakfast and use the room microwave to hear up food. Only sad is no proper housekeeping. Will do replace towers and collect rubbish. Also we love the washing machine. Helpful

I stayed at Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro recently, and overall it was a great experience — especially for travelers who want comfort, convenience, and a bit more space than a typical Tokyo hotel. What I Loved • Amazing Location Right in the heart of Ikebukuro, super close to restaurants, convenience stores, nightlife, and the station. You can get anywhere in Tokyo easily, and the area feels safe even late at night. • Washer/Dryer in the Room A HUGE plus. Being able to do laundry inside my room saved me a ton of time. (Although the machine panel is all in Japanese took a little learning curve. But once you figure it out, it’s super convenient.) • Clean & Modern Rooms The room was spotless, quiet, and surprisingly roomy for Tokyo. The bed was comfortable, and housekeeping was reliable. • Good Amenities Microwave, mini fridge, air purifier, and a well-designed bathroom. The fog-free mirror in the bathroom was a nice surprise, something Japan does way better than most hotels. Things That Could Be Improved • Laundry Machine Instructions If you don’t speak Japanese, the washer/dryer can be confusing at first. A small guide with select languages in the room would help a lot. Overall Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro is a fantastic base for visiting Tokyo — clean, comfortable, and extremely practical. It was a please t stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok but I am not a fan of taking it back to the room to prepare and eat.

Great being so close to a Yamamoto line stop so that the rest of Tokyo was easily accessible. However be warned that there does seem to be quite a few strippers on the block. Other than that the room was nice and clean but fairly small, and the staff were super helpful and lovely.
