Hotels near PWTC LRT Station

PWTC LRT station is located about 400 meters walk from the Putra KTM Komuter station. It consists of two sheltered side platforms along with a double-tracked line and all levels are linked by stairways and escalators as well as facilities such as prayer rooms, toilets and convenient stores. It was built to serve the northern and southern areas of Kuala Lumpur to cater for the Commonwealth Village and National Sports Complex in Bukit Jalil, during the KL Commonwealth Games in 1998.

This station can be accessed by Putra KTM station which is served by KTM Komuter's Rawang-Seremban Line and Sentul-Port Klang Line. There is also Putra Bus Terminal also located nearby connects to the East Coast destinations in Peninsular Malaysia. There are various landmarks near this station such as Putra World Trade Center (PWTC), Sunway Putra Mall and numerous hotels nearby.

How to Get There

By Car

From Kuala Lumpur city centre, it takes around 10 minutes to reach PWTC LRT Station by using Damansara road and Sultan Iskandar highway.

By Train

There are trains scheduled to reach PWTC LRT Station from KL Sentral. You can reach PWTC LRT Station by Putra Komuter station (KA04) served by the Seremban Line and Port Klang Line. Once you arrive at the komuter station, the LRT station is about a 400-metre walk from the station. Besides that, PWTC LRT Station is connected by Ampang Line or Sri Petaling line. The popular landmark nearby this LRT Station is Sunway Putra Mall shopping complex and Putra World Trade Centre.

Sunway Putra Mall

This shopping mall is accessible within a 10-minute walk from the Chow Kit monorail station and PWTC LRT Station. In March 2011, Putra Place, which consists of The Mall, Legend Hotel (now known as Sunway Putra Hotel) and an office block, was acquired by Sunway REIT under Sunway Group for RM513.94 million in a public auction and they spent RM307 million in refurbishment costs. The refurbishment started in May 2013 and reopened as "Sunway Putra Mall" on 28 May 2015. Sunway Putra Mall houses 300 outlets spread over five levels and four distinctive categories. Among them are Vanity Hall (fashion and beauty), Market Place (household items), Selera Street (food and beverage), and Asian Avenue (fashion, accessories, and F&B outlets from the Asian region). The brands feature in this mall are Coach, H&M, Levi’s and many more.

Aquaria KLCC

Aquaria KLCC is one of the largest aquariums in Southeast Asia and consists over 150 species of marine life. For instance, there are scary tiger sharks, lethal sea snakes, blue rays, bright coral fish, seahorses and more. Located at concourse level of KLCC, this aquarium covers over 60,000 square feet (5,600 m2) in two levels with a 90-metre (300 ft) underwater tunnel with more than 250 different species and over 5,000 land and aquatic animals from Malaysia and around the world. Besides that, there is also an interactive information kiosk on fish and turtle conservation and souvenir shop. The admission for an adult is RM 69, a child is RM 59, a senior citizen is RM49 and entrance is free for children below 3 years old.
