Staff, location, garden.

Excellent stay

The staff seemed in need of training. Check-in was very long as the front desk people were unsure of what to do. Some of the wait staff were confused and seemed to have a difficult time organizing basic drink orders like a rum and coke, and the breakfast staff had difficulty getting coffee. Despite their challenges the staff were very polite and friendly. The buffet dinner was horrendously overpriced; nearly USD$100.00 for one person! The property itself is very beautiful, well-maintained and in a great location.

The property gardens are stunning. The food, even if they did not have a vast selection, was amazing. The rooms could use a renovation. Nothing was broken or anything, but you could see the wear and tear on the furniture.

Great location with fabulous staff. Dining options could be improved as the evening buffet was not, in our opinion, value for money and could have provided a better range and quality. The other restaurants on site are excellent though and you have plenty of other choices in Flic N Flac, which is a short taxi ride away,

Good hotel but very expensive, on checking out my bill was incorrect but then corrected, eating options are limited by the restaurant opening hrs, I also found it very expensive to stay here and value for money was not good. I also had an issue with the taxi booking and was incorrectly charged and given incorrect information about the hotel taxi.

Very nice property with beautiful gardens and swimming pools

Beautiful place with lovely staff. The sunsets are stunning. Please be aware that there isn’t a grocery store as the Expedia description suggests. It’s a souvenir shop.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The entire staff were really nice and accommodating. The overall facility is very clean and the room was awesome. The amenities are well sized and it's easy to get around. Everyone was so hospitable and made sure we felt comfortable. I really appreciate that everyone here went above and beyond for us and I look forward to being back!

I have been staying at the Hilton Mauritius since 2008. It never disappointed me until this time. It started at check in when I had to ask multiple times about my Hilton Honors number being in the system. No welcome back verbally or by note. No extra special touches for Hilton Honors members like they did in the past. I used all the herbal tea in my room and it wasn't replenished. No hot water in my shower when i arrived at the hotel the first evening. After a wedding i believe Sunday night beer cans and glasses where still on the beach when i went walking at 7 am. It looked like a frat house. Compared to other neighboring hotels this looked messy. The erosion on the beach is getting worse. Nothing the hotel can do, its just sad. Overall the property has aged considerably. I always loved this hotel. I'm usually in Mauritius on Business and found this hotel to have a nice mix of people instead of strictly honeymooners.

Evryhing was great

The staff were some of the best I’ve ever come across at a hotel. Extremely welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend staying here if visiting Mauritius. The hotel has great links to the airport, and there are a range of things to do/see and eat with its three restaurant options (all of which serve extremely high quality food). 10/10 for me, the staff truly made the experience so special.
