Delfin Beachfront Resort – Downtown Puerto Vallarta Optional All-Inclusive

We booked a fully all inclusive trip. Upon arrival the hotel refused to honor the all inclusive.i showed them our confirmation number and itinerary from both Expedia and thier hotel . They just ignored both and flat out refused to help. Ww ask to speak to manager , who you could tell easily, had done this before. He wouldn't even look at our documents , he just kept saying no. Even with clear proof in our hands . He had obviously ran thos scam before many times . We called Expedia and they blamed the hotel and said there was nothing they could do . The hotel just laughed at us . Ive been traveling for 20 years and this is the first time anything like this has happened.vety disappointed with Expedia also , as I have been a client for 20 years . But 100% the Delfin hotel is running a scam, they had all there staff respones lines down to a science . Worst hotel if your going to Puerto Vallarta 🇵🇷

El hotel muy limpio, práctico está a pie de playa cerca de todo y aparte el servicio es excelente en especial las personas que trabajan en recepción el turno de la noche. Le doy 10 de 10 y me volvería a hospedar ahí. Para referencia yo estuve de abril 18 al 21 de 2026

The room has nice view but pretty basic.

The adults only Tower looks okay we saw some rooms that they were being cleaned but the rest of the place needs a major remodel it was dirty and I would never go there again

Great room on the 8th floor with good views. Not that I minded but girlfriend thought that the water could be hotter for showers. Other then that, great

Room was very clean. Fresh towels daily. No patio lock. Security staff super helpful and attentive. We were always able to get lounge chairs and umbrella at beach. Beach gets very busy by end of the day. Pool is small, was often very busy with children in floats and splashing not much room for others.

Great little resort, close to everything you need or want to see. Restaurant buffet was small but food was good.

Large windows and good balcony! Loved all the pools and amazing view of the pier!

Rooms are old and smells humidity

I booked an ‘all inclusive’ and all I got was a room The receptionist basically argue with me saying that they don’t have All Inclusive while they have a sign on the counter offering all inclusive I also booked ‘adults only’ and was children everywhere Very misleading! I request a refund.

The beach facing room was a large clean room with a balcony facing the ocean.

Nothing was included not even coffee

Great property near the centre of the romantic zone on the beach. Excellent for walking, restaurants nearby, beach and swimming.

Did this hotel deserve 5 stars? No. Did it deserve 3 stars? Yes, but remember, 3 stars on Hotels.com is "OK". And for about $120 usd/night, on the beach, in PV, "OK" isn't bad. A lot of what frustrated me initially, was the contradictory info we received either through Hotels.com or at the property. When you check in, they give you a "Regulations and service time table" document. There is a lot of negative information, which I personally don't think is a good way to start a week at a hotel. The water was turned off once in the middle of the night and 3 times (that we noticed) during the day. One of these times was for 4 hours due to a broken pipe. We had to ask for someone to come up to the room with a bucket of water to flush the toilet. The maid was great until it was her day off and management evidently didn't think to cover her rooms. They had the room cleaned after we mentioned it. Hotels.com states there is no elevator but reviews mention 2 elevators with one of them broken. There are 2 elevators and one stopped working at least once/day. Hotels.com says there are 3 pools. However, one pool (adults only) is available for a 350p fee (good toward food/drink). The other pools are in a large patio area but there are only 6 umbrellas. Over the weekend we were there, you had to get out there early to snag an umbrella. So....not a bad hotel. Good location for the price. They need to update their Hotels.com info and their check-in document.
