All the staff I talk to were very good and helpful ! There was no TV, other amenities, I really dislike the decor, the giant fly! Really!? Loud and obnoxious! The door to the lobby was not clear or clearly marked! Room kind of dingy and worn, outdated.

The place is fun and the staff are very welcoming. Rooms are small, but clean and you can't go wrong for the price. Walking distance to the trains. They just got a new table tennis in the lobby. They also offer water and coffee.

Sometimes, the definition of a Hotel can surprise you. I have definitely stayed at hostels with a better standard than this, however it was clean, (most) staff kind and rate is inexpensive - the perfect place to stay if you just need a good bed and rest between activities. You will get towels a private bathroom in the hallway and clean sheets which of course is better than hostel in most cases. The location is not the most charming of Amsterdam, but it’s a three minute walk to the train station and then another four minutes with the train to Amsterdam Central Station, no sweat.

I love this hotel!! 2nd time visiting and as lovely as the 1st, unfortunately was awoken on my 3rd night to someone repeatedly trying to get into the room, knocking and using their key card. I assume they had the wrong room, they attempted 3 times through the night. Once again beautiful hotel

When we arrived (well before dark) there were rats running around the gazebo in the parking lot. The room did not have a washroom as advertised, and it had no windows. The room was dim, but with a flashlight we saw many bugs (spiders, and things in their webs) and evidence of carpet bugs. The room had a terrible smell and there was a urinal in the room, which had not been cleaned. The staff person at the door was professional. We did not stay due to the smell, the filth, and the lack of windows making the room dangerous. I requested a refund as the room was not as advertised but this was denied. Expedia was not able to help.

It is good we are 12 of us shared 2 rooms with 3 bunkbeds in each room. We used it for the night stay only, it was ok for our purpose. Free parking is good what is missed - no recycling of plastic papers - no space in the room just to sit and talk or play game - washrooms are not connected to the room - price is not that cheap
