Really enjoyed my stay here. It’s definitely more bare-bones, but super cute and they fully commit to the backstage theme, which I liked. I was barely in the room anyway, so it worked great for me.
Just a heads up: the bathroom and shower are shared, but you do have a private sink in the room, plus towels, which made it easy. The location was the biggest win for me — very walkable and close to everything I wanted.
The staff were really friendly and super nice, and they made the stay feel really welcoming.
I had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were very clean, someone came and changed the towels everyday too so we never had to ask. There was a tea and coffee machine that was always available too which was an additional bonus. Staff were very friendly and super helpful, we had a full itinerary for our trip but the staff did say if we ever needed any recommendations or advice to just ask, which was nice. It was a great location for staying in Amsterdam, it was close to tram and bus stops if you needed that but also walking distance if you just wanted to stroll down further central. Some additional advice/warning: when the nice person on reception asks if you want help with getting your bags to the room you should absolutely say yes, we said we’d be fine, fully underestimating how steep and how many stairs there were, and then made it to the 2nd floor and room keeping saw our struggle and kindly helped us the rest of the way!

Terrible service actually there was zero service. No tea coffee making facilities tried overcharging me on arrival and room were 1hr.30min late from check in time supposed to be 2pm. Won’t be back again. Little see thru bugs on carpet freezing bathroom just awful

The room was clean and met our expectations. We did not spend a lot of time in the room as we were exploring daily. 10-15 minute walk to the main areas. Stairs could be a challenge for some. We are 55 and 60 years old and made it up to 4th level with our bags. Staff was very friendly and happy to provide assistance.

Staff was very nice and helpful, they even give you a welcome card and complimentary drink. Location is just about close to everything you want to see. Love the Rock and Roll theme gives the place a bit of personality without being tacky. Only complaint about the room is the TV is a bit old.
Also a heads up if you have large luggage or have any injuries or disabilities this hotel doesn't have an elevator so you'd have to walk potentially 4 levels up the stairs while carrying your stuff
