Novotel Rotterdam-Schiedam

Terrible hotel. Not 4 stars or worth the price at all stay away! We booked a 3 person room and the duvets and pillows were dirty and unwashed, tables and kettle not clean at all we had to cover them with towels. Mentioned at reception and they said theyd change our room but instead came with extra bedding which was still dirty. The lady seemed like she didn’t want to help us so we didnt ask any further. We got a room at the end of the hall so a neighbour was playing loud music and smoking weed!! carpets dirty just was a horrible experience and i regret spending money here. shouldn’t be 4 stars at all worst hotel i have stayed at

Perfect for when travelling with kids stuff were amazing from front desk to the bar and restaurant will definitely recommend

We had a great stay at Novotel Schiedam! The hotel was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious, quiet, and perfect for a relaxing night. The location is convenient close to the highway, Rotterdam, and Vlaardingen, yet still peaceful and surrounded by greenery. Parking was easy, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt calm and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again!

Please don't expect general Novotel, it was worst in world wide. Especially you need to charge multiple times

We stayed smoking room while not smoking it was bad. But staff was friendly. Definitely not our best

First of all novatel shoukd not take booking from expedia or any other 3rd party. They ask so many queations when i checked in. They gave 2 internet option neither of the connection has internet, it was 0.03 something speed. While i was checking in, receptionist told me that once in three day i can have my room cleaned. There was no toothpaste and toothbrush. Despite my asking, receptionist clearly denied electric adaptic 2 pin adaptor.. i have neen to many hotels and used to think that novotel is at par with other hotels. But they are not, they even charge fir car parking . Worst hotel

Everything was good

Expedia shows that this property have laundry. The hotel does not have a laundry facility but instead laundry is handled by a 3rd party, meaning the client have their clothes laundered for a fee instead of washing themselves

This was the easiest worst hotel room experience at Novotel. The bathtub drainage didn’t work plus the shower head broke into 2 while bathing and hurting my feet. The furnishing of the room was also old (not to be confused with vintage). I am not sure what Novotel is up to but this hotel was definitely not at par with other Novotels I have stayed in the past in different cities. Hope the management takes note. I am most likely not going to book anther stay with Novotel

Very nice hotel

Booked 3 nights. At check in we were asked to tick a box £25 for room bar. We declined but the mini bar fridge was empty in the room! We were not told at check in that the don’t clean the room every day we have to request it at reception- so our bins were not cleaned, beds not changed nor towels. The bedside light was broken. The extractor fan did not work properly in the bathroom. When we mentioned it they were not bothered. Service at the bar was slow - even though we were the only ones there. Beds were not comfortable and I kept sliding off the edge.
