Authentic vibe. Nice to have a family room to hang out in with endless tea and coffee and treats. 5 minute walk to town. Very accommodating staff. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful introduction to Svalbard. The restaurant was very good with Arctic fare on the menu, in a lovely setting. We saw our first Arctic fox whilst having breakfast. The staff were brilliant with a special shout out to the girl from Namibia on reception- so sorry I can’t remember your name, but it was lovely to meet you!

Fantastic, quirky, friendly! The meal at the restaurant was the best I had in Longyearbyen and also in recent memory (try the whale steak!). Wonderful breakfast spread, comfy waiting area / common room. Highly recommendable.
