The bed in our room was very comfortable and the sheets felt gorgeous and they did not smell of 'summer breeze' or other such dreadful smell often on hotel bedding. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Did not have time for breakfast. The view over the harbour from our room was great!

Room is exactly as expected, well maintained, clean and cozy. Small but enough for up to 2 pax. Location is central in the city and the airport bus stop is within less than 50m. Walking distance to tourist office and other major attraction. Nice top floor overlooking the bridge and view of the city.

Our only negative was how long it took to check in. It seemed like the clerk had a whole lot of screens and questions that had to be filled out. They worked as quickly as possible but just had so much that had to be completed before we got our key.

Don't get me wrong, the view is amazing, but if you're disabled please understand the Rorbua pub and the pizza place aren't actually in the hotel, and if a cruise comes through the line is long untii 2am. It's not easily ADA accessible. Expedia and Booking claim room service, but that's patently false. They also told me I wasn't a member, which I absolutely was. I'd signed up for priority check-in and both in Tromsø and in Oslo said I hadn't. And the free breakfast tasted horribly. I'm -Norweigan American, and that wasn't either.
