Friendly staff when checking in. Super convenient in the center of the city.

Pros: Very convenient location, close to everything. The room is decent sized. Nice harbor view from the room. Good breakfast selection although there could be a line during peak time as we were there during February. Local tour desk is located in the lobby for easy booking. Cons: Customer service not the best - On the first night of our stay, there was a school party going on on the floor beneath us, and the music was so loud we can feel the vibration in the floor, it went on until 11:30PM. When we checked in, the hotel did not inform us about this event at all. And the front desk phone line is always busy when we tried to call multiple times. The next morning when we complained in person at the desk, the reception person just shrugged it off and gave us a free breakfast as compensation.

Staff were fantastic and room was clean and comfortable

An efficient, clean and well located hotel with spacious family rooms and lots of variety at breakfast. Lots of the tour operators are close by. The housekeeping staff were great and not intrusive. The main drawback of the hotel is how busy and noisy it is, with predominantly Chinese tourists making very loud video calls on their phones everywhere (and at breakfast) and generally queues at reception and lots of guests blocking the entrance all the time. Overall a good hotel but go somewhere else to feel a more authentic experience.

Rummen o hotellet gammalt och slitet. Inte alls i närheten av närliggande hotell eller matchande prisnivån tyvärr. Trapphus med dörr som smällde hela natten bredvid rummet. Svårt, nästan omöjligt att hitta gymmet som var väldigt litet.

Fantastic location, a little disappointed that the pub next door owned by the Raddison wouldn’t let my 18 year old son in due to licensing laws, even though we said he wouldn’t be drinking, but that aside great hotel 👍

Staff friendly and helpful. Lively hotel in a great location. Very clean and warm. Everything we needed was on hand. Breakfast was really good. Quality and choice of food was of a high standard and plentiful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this lovely hotel in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Tromso.

Whilst the hotel is in a perfect location and the breakfast is great, the staff at both check-in and when approached for help during our stay were less than helpful and willing to assist. The hotel is also completely insecure, as anyone, without a room key can assess the entire hotel including taking the elevators or stairs up to the rooms, which made us feel worried during our stay. For the price point and the known chain, much improvement is needed.

The staff were constantly very polite and eager to help, a very professional and friendly service. Hygiene was top notch, room was cleaner every day and new towels were provided. The breakfast buffet had a good variety for both meat and vegan options, hot and cold. I stayed for pleasure, but there were some conferences going on at the venue also. Very conveniently located, close to local transport, shops and restaurants.

Eigentlich ein schönes Hotel in guter Lage und freundlichem Personal. Wie vieles in Norwegen für die angebotene Leistung zu teuer. Die Saune hat einen spektakulären Ausblick auf den Hafen aber keine Ruhemöglichkeit und daher unbrauchbar. Für unser Zimmer mit Blick zum Hafen haben wir richtig extra bezahlen müssen. Staff was absolutely exceptional, hotel is in a great area and awesome views! Going on a weeklong excursion, coming back into the city for one night and staying here again!
