It was nice to be able to get on and off the Havila Voyages cruise ship nearby. To get to Bergen Airport, I went to the stop, which was only two minutes away, twice to wait for the B50 and B51 buses, but they never came. So I gave up and went to Bybanen in the central area. They don't accept cash, so I paid 25kr with a credit card. The ride to the airport was about 40-45 minutes. I got my tax refund at the book shop, which I used to get my credit card (they don't give cash). There was no money exchange. I think I'll have to go to the US and exchange it for US dollars.

Room is clean and the check in and out is very smooth. But the room temperature cannot be managed by ourselves. We need to ask front desk to control the temperature. And then, we asked to be up room temperature, but it was no change and very cold.

A quiet corner room facing the city and Fløyen mountain. Decor is an odd combination of Scandi minimalist and velvety Rococo couch. Very clean and new feeling. Would be nice to have USB charging ports. Staff are friendly and helpful-ask at the front desk to book a taxi or use the selfserve kiosk in the lobby.

Loved that there were no carpets in the room. The breakfast was sensational. The hallways were dark and a bit dreary. I would suggest getting rid of all the carpeting and repainting the walls.

The room we are in is in a totally different building from the main lobby. As it rains almost constantly, we have to walk outside to the main building to get our breakfast. The layout of our room is not conducive to any kind of maneuvering about. There is a desk whic is way too big for the room. The lighting was totally inadequate. There was not even a box of tissues anywhere to be found. I would definitely not recommend staying here.
