Staff was in a hurry to be on their phones. What really irritated me was the staff would be as loud as possible every morning so they could finish cooking breakfast asap to do what? You guessed it... be on their phones. Lazy

Basic but tasty breakfast with choice of several dishes. Room was basic and in need of deep clean / renovation. Shower preasure was very low and hot water was hit or miss! Staff were excellent and always friendly and helpful

Booked and stayed in a Deluxe room for 2 nights. the Deluxe room appears to reflect the amazing views of the harbour not the room itself. It’s really a cheap and cheerful place close to everything. The room itself had some issues. First, there was no hot water in the shower. Well at least initially. When I asked reception they promptly checked it and advised that the hot water is solar powered. So no hot showers. Yet the next day it worked when it was cloudy and was checked after it worked even though a typhoon was around so really have no idea. Second, the air con and lights need the room key inserted and were only given one key so the room is hot when you come back. Third, the balcony sliding door did not lock properly so could be opened by jiggling a little, which was ok given we were on the fourth floor and you’d have to be Spider-Man to climb up from floor below or drop down from the roof to get in, noting this is offset with a room safe so relatively minor. Fourth, as you cannot flush paper after using toilets in the Phillipines it would have been nice if they emptied the bins each day. Fifth the bed was uncomfortable. Oh and I have no idea why there are small round holes in the ceiling above the bed and above the shower. I plugged them with toilet paper but it seem pretty weird

Property location good - convenient. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Room had a nice view but there was no blanket or doona. Did not like the bathroom as it was integrated into toilet area and you had to shower in a toilet basically. Also very noisy with nightclub next door

Horrible. Pictures are outdated. Misleading. Construction from 6 AM until 7 PM.

Very good location, we were able to walk from the ferry to the hotel and it was only like 5 minutes. Also, is facing the beach so you can catch the sunset from the breakfast area. The room was clean, had AC and basically everything you need for a modest stay. Lots of dining / nighttime options no more than 10 minutes walking.

This was a lovely place to stay great location and a great view from the free breakfast area. The staff were great. Il be back

Friendly staffs and the price were pretty affordable. The shower head & hair drier were not working properly. Suggest to replace with the new one.

Lovely staff and amazing location to explore El Nido. The breakfast was good with a nice view. There were a few minor imperfections with the hotel room - squeaky bed, rattling windows and grimy bathroom. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at the Aqua Lodge for a good price and would recommend.

We had a seaview and were able to extend our stay 2 times in the same room. The staff were so helpful in making this possible. We did 1 tour El Nido: Jeepney Adventure tour (booked online); a great way to see the local beaches and waterfall. We also booked 3 tours through Aqua travel lodge Tour A, B, and C. The provided towels and snorkeling gear for free, other folk had to pay to rent their gear. Bring water shoes, an absolute necessity. Note kayaking is not included in the tour price so take some money (300-500 pesos). There is sn extra environmental fee 400 pesos/person that lasts 5 days. So if you book all your tours within this time frame you don't have to pay it each tour.

Great location on the street with all the restaurants and shops. Perfect for a few days in El Nido. Staff were very helpful and went above and beyond to help us.

The front desk and staff are very friendly and helpful but the rooms are quite dirty and old but it is very convenient for only staying for couple of days. 3.5/5

I am deeply disappointed with my stay at this hotel and feel obligated to warn others about the serious issues I encountered, especially regarding security and maintenance. The “sea view” rooms are not part of the main hotel but are located across the street, easily accessible to anyone. This wouldn’t be as alarming if the door locks weren’t so worn and unreliable. We stayed in two sea view rooms, both with major issues: - Ground-floor room: The main door handle was barely attached, feeling like it might fall off at any moment. Additionally, the sliding glass door facing the sea was flimsy and insecure. - First-floor room: This room was accessible via stairs directly from the street, and its main entrance—a sliding glass door—could be opened even when locked. I spent an entire day trapped inside until management replaced the faulty lock. To make matters worse, the bathroom in this room had a missing window, leaving a large open gap. This compromised privacy, allowed mosquitos in, and made showering uncomfortable, as anyone outside could see in. Beyond these safety concerns, the hotel was extremely noisy, but the lack of security and basic maintenance overshadowed everything. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. It left me feeling unsafe, frustrated, and thoroughly disappointed. There are far better and safer options available.
