The staff were very friendly during my stay. I would especially like to commend the male receptionist on duty on the night of 5 April 2026. He kindly helped me print my flight documents free of charge. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask for his name, but I truly appreciate his kindness and excellent service.

I had a wonderful experience in Toyoko Inn Cebu. It brings me back to Japan, the room is cozy and clean, which is expected in most Japanese Hotel Lodge. The food that they serve in the morning is balanced. I will recommend this place to my friends, The price is affordable and you can get discount if you book early. There's a mall beside the place which makes it easier to look for a place to eat. We got a room with a perfect view outside where you can relax, this place is also good for someone who is new to the place because of the location, they also have a free shuttle service going back to the airport.

Direct international flights also connect CEB to various Asian cities, and from further afield, travellers can connect through these hubs. Navigating Pagsabungan and the wider Mandaue City area is facilitated by a variety of transport options. The best time to visit Pagsabungan, and Cebu in general, is during the dry season, which typically runs from November to May. The peak tourist season often coincides with major holidays like Christmas and Holy Week, as well as summer months (March-May), when prices for accommodation might be higher and crowds larger. The shoulder months of November and February offer a good balance of pleasant weather and fewer tourists.

Before departing for Pagsabungan, ensure you have the local currency, the Philippine Peso (PHP).
