Place is nice. Food is ok. Service is quite great. Room is nice and spacious. Beach is not really accessible for swimming. Bad experience we had is the poor water supply in the bidet and toilet bowl and poor cable system.

Indeed, the perfect place in puerto princesa. The resort was very welcoming and the best part was the sandbar trip. In just 30 minutes, the palawan clear waters, white sand with star fish and all are just surreal. Perfect for us who can't do island hopping or trip to underground. Thanks to Alvin. They are not typical hotel who charge every small thing like bottled water or simple beach eqpt like kayak. Our room and toilet are very spacious. Hope the management will keep the whole setting of the place that way. Thanks Blue Palawan!

Blue Palawan Beach Club Staff- Very friendly, helpful, polite. Swimming Pool- clean. Staff will have towels and drinking water ready for you even without asking. Chattels- clean, spacious, more than enough room for 4 people (2x twin beds). Big double showers. Overall, area is well maintained. Waterfront (but not the beachfront where you can swim). Free kayaks available. Not far from Puerto Princesa Airport, markets, and cafes (Robinsons mall). Free shuttle service to the airport. Staff can organise transport if you would like to visit local market. They can organise discounted tours as well. Overall- good location. Well maintained property. Great staff members.

marvellous find
i was more than delighted to have discovered this place. i wanted to spend some quiet chill time before i witness the craziness of boracay. the resort is beautifully done up with a very minimalist design. The pool is great and and the beachfront is nice. cant really swim on the beachfront but kayaking was fun. the resort plays great ambient music. the staff is amazing especially Levy. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I only wish they had more food options for vegetarians. Whoever is planning to visit puerto must stay here.

Lovely hotel at the end of a crappy road
The road definitely contributes to the seclusion of this hotel, which is a great thing. The complex is relatively small and tidy. Staff is very polite and helpful. Super easy to get a taxi (php300) or a tricycle (php150) to get to nearby city of Puerto Princesa. Rooms are spacious, but slightly noisy depending on where you are and if you have a double one. We had room #6, and trust me, you will hear the roosters every morning! Kayak ride (free) was lovely and the mangrove nearby will ensure you a contact with the locals (who are generally very welcoming). Breakfast was good and they changed the menu every day.

Good resort to relax
The rooms were comfortable and clean. The service was good but very laid back. At the resort there isn't much to do. So we decided to spend the day at pool and drink the whole cocktail menu. There are activities like paddle boarding and canoeing to the sandbar. There isn't much to see when snorkeling and the water is not the best quality. The resort itself is well laid out and is a different place to stay with cool beach style villas. It had a beach resort vibe in the middle of busy streets. The music playlist was also great which added to the atmosphere.

I went to see whale shark
I was in the Philippines for a family matter and had two days with not much to do so I decided to try to see whale shark. I asked friends where I should stay and someone I have known for a long time told me to try Blue Palawan. Once you arrive in Puerto Princesa it takes awhile for them to take you to the hotel but you get to wait in an air conditioned van. The hotel is close by and has clean rooms and a pool. No beach. Just a sea wall. Didn't use the pool. The only thing I did there was take the kayak out once to see if there was anything in the water. A couple of turtles is all I saw but there were local fishermen so there must have been something to catch. I was happy with the food although I thought they gave too much for people traveling alone. The portions were to share so I didn't order some things as I knew I would waste them. I see the complaints about noise but had none of those problems while I was there. Would stay here again if I wanted to be close to the only real city in Palawan.
