Calypso Beach and Dive Resort
This resort was a great choice for our holiday to Boracay. The room (Nemo) we chose was a king suite room and was very spacious. The room faced the sea but was a bit distracted by the rooftop in between the room and the sea. The same room was a better view would have been Lapu Lapu. The only other 2 small issues with the room was the low water pressure in the shower and the WiFi which could only be accessed from one corner of the room. Not such a big deal as the WiFi from the breakfast area worked fine. The resort had a first class dive center with great equipment and divemasters. The beach and loungers was just steps away from the resort. All of the staff working at the resort were extremely friendly. I would absolutely stay at this resort again and would highly recommend this resort to family and friends.

We had the best view and the best room in the place. We stayed in the Mamsa room, our view of the ocean and sunset was great! You could hear some slight music at night, but definitely didn't keep you awake! Great tv channel selection. The room was big and comfortable, the wifi was okay. The cocktails were great, and the security guard on the beach is lovely! The bed was comfortable, and big bathroom, we booked the king suite deluxe room for 10 nights, and we seriously had the best honeymoon ever!

I spent many hours reviewing hotels in Boracay. I ended up booking a room here from AirBNB for 2900php a night (AUS$70) plus a cleaning fee. Just back from 7 nights and it was FANTASTIC. Best position:- Close to pubs like Nigi Nigi Nu Nus (240m) where a great band plays till late. Close to 7Eleven (60m). Close to a row of souvenir shops. Close to boats at Station 3 (250m) for a sunset sail or parasailing. Many hotels have not yet taken down mesh walls used to stop sand blowing inside, but we had an open and clear view from beach chairs and the beachside bar and restaurant. We had Randy the security guard to put out and take in beach chairs, get drinks, adjust umbrellas for more shade and give advice. Our room was huge as was the ensuite, great wardrobe, large TV with 100 channels and serviced daily. Far enough from the discos and pubs to sleep soundly but close enough to walk. Meals were great. Service first class, and tables were set up nightly on the beach with candlelight. As an idea of what things cost..... Most meals were 200p (A$5). Cocktails were 200p for 2 during Happy Hour. Beer 75 to 90p. Sunset Paraw Sail 200p ea if you go straight to a "captain" at about 20mins before sunset. Tandem Parasail 1200p each direct with Diamond Sports at Station 3. Zipline was 800p (A$20) each but only if you travel there yourself which we did by hiring a Tricycle for 300p for an hour, with a stop at Mt Luho Lookout on the way. After Mt Luho and the Zipline, get dropped off near SPIDER HOUSE and have lunch there. It's an AMAZING place and a MUST SEE.

Well located resort, with good amenities; and solid dive operation too.
Stayed here for several days with my wife - our second trip to Boracay. I dived quite a lot; she lazed at the hotel and on the beach. Overall, a nice resort. The location, by the beach and close to restaurants, bars and shops, is good, as others have noted. The standard of the rooms and restaurant is also good. And the dive operation is professionally run. Boracay does not have the widest range of or most spectacular dive sites in the Philippines, but the diving is very decent. So a good place to go if you want to combine some diving with beach-bumming and night-life. The only downside was that Boracay was suffering from one of its periodic (and I believe increasingly frequent) algae blooms when we were there, which rather mars the otherwise beautiful beach and makes swimming in the shallows rather unpleasant.
