The resort is beautiful and very relaxing. Everything was good except for the unfriendly receptionist. We checked out last February 15, 2019. We appreciate that she entertained us at 5:30am for an early check out. We asked her if she could help us get a ride going out of the resort. She informed us that nobody else is awake and that it is safe to walk on the alleys going to the highway. We were reluctant and we tried convincing her to help us hail a tricycle ride but she insisted that we walk and just handed us our gatepass. She seemed very eager to check us out (and maybe to continue her sleep). When the security guard saw us walking, he immediately informed us to be careful since it was dark and there were stray dogs. Following the advice of the receptionist, we were confident that it is indeed safe. Halfway through the alley, six stray dogs circled and growled at us. It was not safe at all and was terribly frightening for us. Walking very slowly, we returned to the resort and the security guard was able to find us a driver. Something that the receptionist refused to do. What disappointed us is her lack of action and the wrong information she provided. It would have been better had she told us that it is not safe to walk out of the alley very early and to just check out on a later time so she could hail a ride for us. Because of the receptionist, we are not staying here again.

It has a pool and it's clean somehow, they have a mini-store inside, but the price is expensive. 2 liters of coca-cola is 110 pesos, there is no convenient store outside the resort. They have provided 1 liter of alcohol. 2 toothbrushes, toothpaste and cotton buds. The room is OK on my first 3 days, the AC is good, but the shower control is broken, really hard to control it. There is no hanger for the towels. They have a table, 2 chairs. The pillow is quite old. There are lots of outlets for electricity which is nice. I extended another day, they transferred me to the other room. They have a table and two chairs, the AC is not good but they have an electric fan. The toilet there is better than the previous one. They have friendly staff, You can always ask them if you need something, we even borrowed plates and glass and fork and spoon and they lent it for free. The resort is few meters away from the beach which is good, then the resort is spacious and has a good ambiance. The place is good if you want to meditate or need a sabbatical. Don't expect a lot since it is a two-star hotel and it's in the province.
