Nice...my kids love the place.

Staff seems lack urgency. They should know how to prioritize request of customers. Rather than calling one by one entertain those already in front of them requesting for the immediate release of room keys. The staff kept on calling those people who are not there.

Where do I start. The reception area, was very dated with furniture old and damaged. Not a good start to our two nights stay. The room was average but the advertised WiFi was non- existent in the room. Of the TV channels only around six out of the eighty were viewable. Despite our complaints nothing was done to fix the issues. The breakfast buffet was poor to average, with many of the plates and cups chipped and/or dirty. On the plus side the location was excellent for Burnham Park and shopping

The best choice for the simple traveler
Situated just at the corner of Abanao Street, Hotel Veniz is the hotel to stay at when you are on a semi tight budget. Obviously, its an old hotel. We checked in for a night right before our hiking trip. The staff was rather busy ( there were three of them scrambling about while we checked in) but friendly still. One of them even reminded us that we could store our bags at the lobby while we waited for our rooms to be fixed for check in. The hotels room seemed renoveated half heartedly. Outside, their corridors felt dated but their rooms seemed clean. The bed was amazing and spacious for three and their bathrooms looked refurnished. I wish their water pressure improves on our next visit. Some of the room's furniture were left unfixed, liked their table by the balcony. Thin walls made us hear the people walking loudly outside during the busy hours. The location though is great. Its just across the night market/ Burnham Park. Session Road is just an overpass away. You can easily get a cab right outside the establishment because it is at the corner of a main intersection. A Mcdonalds is just beside it as well. Hotel Veniz is for the simple traveler. It is also for families visiting for a night or two. Cheaper than most Baguio Hotels, its would be a good choice for many.

Affordable, cozy, and good location!
If you're looking for an affordable place that's also near the market, the park, the nightlife, and the place to shop for preloved items, Hotel Veniz is the place to stay in. It has two branches - one along Session Road, and in One Abanao St. You can do your shopping at the Baguio Public Market for all the souvenirs and pasalubongs you need, have your leisurely walk at Burnham Park, do bar hopping along Session Road, and visit all those ukay shops for vintage and preloved items at the old Bayanihan building--all at walking distance from the hotel. Although the palce itself is a bit old, still, it has a lot to offer. They're very affordable and comfortable, too. They're breakfast buffet is okay but you have to come a little bit early to avail of the dishes served; they do not replenish so if you come in even for an hour before closing, you won't get anything anymore. The staffs are super friendly, courteous, and honest. They don't offer memberships and they also don't even have a record of their frequent visitors. You may book online, call long distance for your reservations, but still you have to follow-up on your reservations regularly. Their wifi is only at best when you're in the lobby. Don't expect wifi connection inside your room. At the outset, Hotel Veniz could still work on their services and amenities, thus, maximize their potential as one of the most competetive hotels in Baguio.

Always the best choice
Whenever me and my family members would go to Baguio City, Hotel Veniz would always be our hotel of choice. And now that I travel solo, I always have this hotel in mind first. It's near the market, Session Road, SM, Tiongsan Department Store, Abanao Street and Burnham Park, as well as the night market in Harrison. Price is very reasonable as well, as you get what you paid for. They have also renovated some of their rooms. The hotel also houses the nearby McDonalds, Sunshine Supemarket, and of course the Veniz Grill and Veniz Cafe. There's also the breakfast buffet, but sometimes it's a hit or miss, but still filling. Areas for opportunity: Wifi signal inside some of the rooms is very weak, but when you go to the 5th and 6th floor lobby near the elevator, you can get good signal Only one elevator serving the entire hotel, which is sometimes slow. But to be fair, despite those areas for opportunity, the staff are always on top of their game, always ready to assist. That is why I will always choose this hotel whenever I will stay in Baguio City. They have a new branch in Session Road, hopefully I can try that as well, when their rooms and facilities are already complete.

2ND TIME HERE
The place is at the center of Baguio. So you are near the night market, session road, etc. Safe place to be in Baguio. Very accomodating staffs. This 2nd time on this hotel. No regrets for the somewhat pricey rooms.

Poor excuse for a hotel
Definitely one of the worst hotels in Baguio. Breakfast was worse than hospital food, facilities- dismal. To top it off, no wifi in the rooms or the signal was too weak to reach them. The only thing good about it is its location which was just across the Harrison night market. Other than that, nothing else.
