More about hotels in Quezon
Choose your Quezon Province hotel around the part of the trip you want to spend time on. Lucena works for city visits, Tayabas offers a resort setting along the road to Lucban, and Mauban is the mainland base to consider for Cagbalete Island. A province-wide hotel search brings these different places together; they are not interchangeable overnight stops. This is Quezon Province, south of Metro Manila, rather than Quezon City.
Where to stay in Quezon Province
Lucena: Start here for appointments, family visits and a stay focused on the city. Compare a central address with a property along the diversion road: the more useful choice depends on where you need to be the following morning. A Lucena hotel can also anchor a wider mainland trip, but it does not put you on an island beach.
Tayabas and Lucban: Consider this part of the province when your plans combine time at a resort with visits to the two towns. Graceland is in Barangay Camaysa, Tayabas, on the Tayabas–Lucban Road. Its landscaped grounds offer a different stay from a hotel on a Lucena city street.
Mauban and Cagbalete: Mauban includes Cagbalete Island, so distinguish a mainland room from accommodation on the island itself. An island stay makes sense when the beach is the main event; a mainland night serves a different purpose in the journey. Leave room in the itinerary for the sea crossing rather than treating an island property as a drive-up hotel.
Compare a city hotel with a resort stay
Queen Margarette Hotel – Downtown is at M.L. Tagarao and Granja streets in Lucena. The Main branch is on Domoit Diversion Road. These are separate hotels: choose the address that fits your visit rather than relying on the shared name. For a city-based trip, that branch distinction is more useful than a province-wide ranking.
Graceland Resort Tayabas Quezon suits a trip with time set aside for the property itself. Tayabas tourism describes pools, a central lagoon, walking and cycling paths, and dining beside the water. This is a landscaped inland resort, not a beachfront alternative to Cagbalete. Its event spaces also make it relevant when the reason for staying is a gathering in Tayabas.
For a family weekend, the choice is therefore concrete: stay in Lucena when the city is the purpose of the visit, or choose the Tayabas resort setting when shared leisure time matters more. A hotel room and a resort day visit are different purchases; base the overnight booking on the accommodation and access included in the selected offer.
Match the room to the overnight plan
Keep the main overnight base close to the part of Quezon you will actually use. Combining Lucena and Tayabas is a different itinerary from continuing to Mauban for an island stay. Real and Infanta belong to another coastal part of the province, so a hotel there should be chosen for plans in that area rather than as a substitute for a Lucena room.
Compare rooms for the number of adults and children travelling, especially when choosing between a city hotel and resort accommodation. For an event, use the venue address first; for Cagbalete, decide mainland versus island first. Those two decisions narrow the hotel list more effectively than searching the whole province for a room with a familiar name.
