Very relaxing atmosphere, great beach view, the staffs are also very friendly and helpful. Overall superb!
One of the best resorts in Lapu-Lapu, obviously. The environment is very peaceful and serene, the service is wonderful too, I will be back for sure!
I had a really great stay here, the staffs are really friendly and accommodating especially the receptionist and security. Awesome view from our room as well. Would like to be back soon!
Perfect choice to spend my weekend getaway. The staffs are really helpful and curteous, the room is very clean and tidy, I had no regrets staying at this hotel. Thank you for your hospitality.
A little paradise gem in Olango Island. The best choice to spend your weekend and to escape from the city hustle. I love everything about this resort. Very recommended!
Amazing resort by the beach with affordable price and great service. The room is very clean and comfortable as well. Highly recommended!

Chill place to be
My sister wanted to go to the beach again even after being in one just 2 days ago. I should have said no because a year-long coverage of exams is due next week, but my free-spirited careless self kicked the thought out of my brain. I impulsively tagged along so they would have a driver (an excuse I tell myself so as not to feel too guilty about my crazy decisions). And so we went. Olango Island is just across Mactan Island. To get there, we rode a pump boat at Hilton Wharf just beside Movenpick Hotel. The boat fare is only Php15 and the terminal fee Php5. The boat leaves every 30 minutes and the last trip is at 5:30pm(?). Once we arrived at the island, we took a tricycle (Php150 for a maximum of 6 slim people) going to Talima Beach Villas and Dive Resort. It has a fish sanctuary just 150m away from its "shore"(I put quotation marks because there's really none. Refer to the pictures. lol). Day use of the resort costs Php300 inclusive of corkage fee, cabana rental, use of facilities and swimming pool, and admission to Talima Fish Sanctuary. The resort is just decent enough to enjoy the beach but what I like best is its proximity to the sanctuary. If you're a good swimmer, you could just swim going to the sanctuary. Better go there on morning where a lot other tourists would go to feed the fishes. If you feel already salty enough(lol), they also a have a small pool where the depth ranges from 4-7ft. It also has a Jacuzzi to give you an aqua back massage. You can also check in if you want, the owner said that the cheapest room for 2 costs Php2,200. You can check there website for more details, just google it. ;) And so we swam around the beach and watched the fishes around. By 4pm, we had our tricycle driver called to pick us up. The ride going back to Olango Wharf is another Php150 and the boat fare Php15 and terminal fee Php1. Cebuanos and tourists could spend a day there for less than 600, all in :D Nognog(Visaya for sun burnt) but worth it!

nice resort shame about mosquitos
booked 3 nights here, arrived and had a late lunch, food was tasty and staff were great.went to rooms our air con was on but not blowing cold air, mentioned this to staff who replaced the whole unit, great service.however as dusk came so did the mosquitos,no amount of repellant worked i ended up with 47 bites in one sitting,i had so many they made me ill .the next morning i we checked out and booked into a hotel in the city for 2 nights.such a shame they do not spray as everything else about resort was great.we should of dived with mokie but as i was ill was unable to do so.think next time i will stay on resort on mactan and have mookie pick us up there daily

We stayed in other hotel in Olango island but we dive with Mokie. His dive shop is the best there. The stuff is always smiling, helpful and friendly. They show us a lot of corals, turtles and fishes. They also organize for us trip to Bohol Island. Thank you Mokie! Hope to see you soon. Say Hello to your guys from Bulgaria

Overpriced, dirty island
We planned for staying in 4 days but after 3 days we decided to leave. The island is full of rubbish, the way to resort is rough. The facility is poor. Only positive thing is food, it is ok but this is 2 star hotel but the price is same with 4 star hotel lol. Don't want to come back again!

Better then any accomodation in Mactan or Cebu city
This resort was great, well maintained, great friendly staff, the rooms were wonderful, And Mokies dive shop next door gave you a good reason to be here (although the reef is pretty lame by comparison to Moalboal or Malapascua) but if your looking for a quick getaway from the brutal pollution in Mactan or Cebu city, Olango island is for you. Be sure to get a meal on the floating restaurants on the other side of the island and check out the birdless sanctuary. I made a short video of our trip to Talima, check it out on my youtube page "Milton Westy", titled: Talima resort, Olango island, Philippines
