- Business travel
I've been staying there every now and then and I can say I am satisfied with the service.
Approachable and considerate staff. Cozy place.
- Romantic Vacation
We had a great stay even though the hotel is a bit old. There was a problem with the sink when we’re using the bathroom and shower. Hotel ambiance outside is great. Refrigerator was locked and we didn’t use it during our stay.
Good location (accessible to SM Lanang and close to airport), nice big room with full amenities (towel, toiletries, etc), clean, nice surrounding, nice and helpful employees, wide spread of breakfast choices.
- Romantic Vacation
Had a great time, all the staff were nice, very accommodating and easy to deal with
- Family vacation
Hopefully an elevator or ramp will be provided for 3rd floor rooms so that senior citizens will have easy access going up.
- Family vacation
Air-conditioning was not working well, staff were not very responsive.
- Business travel
Check in took almost an hour because : 1. there are only two front desk clerks who handle checking in/out of guests (note this is peak season), answering telephone calls, etc. 2. as per mr. front desk clerk, as of 2:30pm (check in is 2pm) room is not yet done cleaning, so aside from the queuing time before you are finally served in the front desk, another waiting time before the room is ready to occupy (such a hassle to be honest). Given that hotel check in normally (as per research and reviews) is delayed due to whatsoever reason/s, they should have at least provided a comfortable air conditioned holding area for the guests to stay awaiting the room to be ready. Nonetheless, room is clean, comfortable and spacious but too bad it is not sound proof. We had a little get together but ended up earlier because 3-4 rooms away, a guest complained and take note that is from the opposite side of where we had our gathering. Hopefully, hotel service will be improved and will take actions to some lapses.
- Family vacation
The hotel was great albeit old. The sights were breathtaking, you could stroll through the grounds and gardens or by the beach or lounge by the pool. lawns were immaculately kept and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, top notch service really. The food too was fantastic but quite pricey. Our room was a big let down. The air conditioning wasn't working well, it was too warm and it kept us awake. There were really spooky sounds on the ceiling, and later room service confirmed it rats scurrying about. It was loud and really disturbing. We heard a lot of disturbing sounds so if you're a light sleeper, this isn't for you. You could hear sounds from the hallways, the adjoining rooms and from outside. Water pooled on the bathroom floor so it's really annoying they didn't provide extra towels or rags so we won't slip everytime we get out of the bath. But the beds were very comfy and the room is big. There's a terrace but be careful with the screen door because it comes off and hit my head while I was relaxing on the chair. And the hotel upon check-in will ask for a cash deposit. The room had a bar and refrigerator stocked with snacks but priced way too high. Although the hotel and the room was ancient, it still is very charming and the wide grounds made up for it. Everything you need, you will find in your room
