Golden Jubilee Hotel

Absolutely recommend this hotel it’s amazing the staff are welcoming and friendly it’s so quiet and the interior is stunning We’ve stayed at the Hilton in Glasgow but much prefer the jubilee fantastic hotel

Lovely place

Excellent spacious room. However too stuffy and couldn’t cool the room down with air con as heating kept going on with a noise! Also we only got one teabag and one biscuit so had to ask reception. They also had to bring us a remote for TV as not one in room!

Parts of property need some tlc. Paintwork needs repainted

Really great place to stay and eat food amazing Big bug though is parking if you arrive before 17.30 be prepared to trawl the car park for a space it took me half an hour to get parked in the hotel car park which is obviously being used by people visiting the hospital Should be barriers if and an entry cide sent with your booking cinfirnation

Visiting relative in the Hospital Hotel very handy for this on arrival thought very pleasant clean Hotel about 6pm went to resturant to see if we could get an evening meal we had been on the road for six hours we were asked had we booked we had not Oh we wil see if we can fit you in we are very busy,, there was one table with four people seated but we did get a table made to feel very uncomfortable. all okay untill 0.130 next door returned we had been given a connecting room their AC went on we could not sleep due to the buzzing then the snoring started adding to the disturbance as if the person was in our room.Wife complained next morning manager said you should have asked to be moved ..we had plenty of rooms ...So why did you put us in a family connected room in the first place...????? told we could have a late book out....wide awake declined.....tiring journey home not the best Hotel we have stayed in........

One of the single beds a child was sleeping in made a loud creaking noise as if floor uneven/ and rocking. Toilet did not flush easily or not at all at times. Spacious room. Seemed to be quite a few children running and calling between 9.50pm and 11pm. However staff at breakfast very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast selection. Good blackout window dressings. Friendly hotel with excellent warm pool and changing facilities. Pleasant grounds.

Friendly and accommodating staff, decent sized swimming pool, tasty food at breakfast and dinner. Only downside: parking is a problem during the day, better in the evenings.

Room was lovely and fresh, bed was comfortable, loving the view, bathroom was beautiful, shower was great plenty of pressure. Highly recommended. Cleanliness around and inside was spotless

Staff are so helpful and friendly. Hotel decor in corridors etc could be doing with a touch up but the hotel is very clean. Good selection for breakfast, would stay again

We love staying here! Lovely large rooms, very clean. Great swimming pool and gym. Bit out of town but can use public transport easy enough.

Birthday celebration weekend It was a great stay at the Golden Jubilee hotel, which had also organised one of its function rooms and catered for a family member’s birthday party. The breakfast service was also very good with an excellent choice of menu for breakfast. We would certainly recommend a stay in this hotel.

Well it was a quick check in staff were very friendly helpful the room was lovely very comfortable bed was nice well worth a stay if ur staying in the area. And as well car park is free which is great as well still had to pay for breakfast.

A pleasant stay with friendly staff, would stay again if I was in the area.

Me and my son have stayed here a good few times now he’s 8 and absolutely loves being in the pool and convenient for train travel

Receptionist was curt and unfriendly. The room was dirty in places I.e. dust on light switches, lipstick marks on cups, finger marks on chrome in toilet. In room coffee/tea making provisions had not been replenished. Toilet seat was not attached properly and slid around. Restaurant was great. Staff were helpful and friendly both at dinner and breakfast. The food was very enjoyable.

We experienced the following problems at reception. 1 My wife requested three extra pillows on arrival but was initially told this would not be possible. Eventually two extra pillows were delivered/ 2 We had booked a deluxe twin room but were given a standard double.but this was rectified and we were moved. the receptionist blamed her computer system. 3 Receptionist was unfriendly and rude.More interested in booking the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. 4 Receptionist called concerning our check in review at approx 9 pm and asked if I wanted to speak to a manager. This was declined as we wanted and early night due to hospital appointments the following day.. 5 key cards had only been activated for the first of our two night stay 6 Second night of our stay we got little sleep due to the noise from a car alarm gong off constantly. i appreciate. that this may be out of the hotels/hospital control but ai would be interested if any attempt to resolve this situation had been attempted. 7 Woken at 9am by the person wanting to clean our room.
