It would have been nice to have had breakfast - in fact, any food at all. I checked in around 5:30 pm . The gentleman at reception was neither unpleasant nor welcoming. He said very little, except that there were two bookings, one of which I did not know of. That was the total of the conversation - except to tell me my room number, give me my key, and point to where the lifts were. So with no welcome or information offered on where to eat, drink, or anything at all,I proceeded to my room, thinking all the information would then be there. There was nothing apart from a leaflet on sustainability and a Do Not Disturb sign.I went downstairs back to reception, where there was a lengthy queue of people, so I proceeded to the hospital to find out where I would be going in the morning, as I had a very early admittance time. On the way back, there were still a lot of people, so I continued onwards and could see a sign for a restaurant, but not knowing if reservations were required, and at the risk of embarrassment, I declined to go in.I returned to my room and this is where I stayed until the morning.I had brought some yoghurt and fruit with me as advised by the hospital for my stay, so I ate this. The first face you see on arrival is a very important one and can either put someone at ease and make them feel comfortable and welcome, or not. He did not. The room was also cold all night and the heating would not go any higher. Not a great experience in a lovely hotel and room

The hotel is impressive, the staff attentive and helpful. The room was cleaned to a high standard every day. The food excellent and staff attentive.

Big room, clean, heating was not working but we’ve got an electric radiator from reception, expensive and poor quality breakfast, very cold changing rooms at the pool, not very clean, the place overall needs attention

Clean, modern and very comfortable bedroom. Spacious lounge bar and lovely breakfast. Staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. Would have no hesitation in returning and happy recommend to family and friends. Thank you for a lovely stay

I always try to stay at the Jubilee whenever possible because of the rooms and staff etc.

King room was a great size with lovely views. Bed was comfortable but the only issue was the pillows. Really really soft apart from one. Felt as if I was lying completely flat.

Check in was quick and easy. Friendly staff both at reception and in the restaurant. Hotel was ideal as my husband was in the hospital.

The breakfast wasn't free i had to pay for oit but it was worth every penny brilliant room good housekeeping good bar staff brilliant reception staff and friendly lovely breakfast staff keep up the good work golden jubilee I'll be back again
