I stayed at this hotel as was due for surgery early next morning. The room was huge and clean, the food was excellent and the staff very friendly.

Breakfast was quite cold, & mushrooms were overcooked & not very nice

Great hotel, though it was a bit disconcerting to find it was part of the hospital complex. I had a lovely room, with a large walk in shower, and great views over the River Clyde. The breakfast food was great. I ate at the restaurant one evening, and had lovely, fresh fish and chips. Unfortunately, I was not very hungry the next night, and wanted to order one of the advertised “small dishes”. But in that case I had to order two - that was the minimum order. So I asked to order a sandwich, but the hotel stopped serving them at 4pm. I ended up buying a packet of crisps from the vending machine in the hospital - not ideal!

Well maintained room with views of the river Clyde just a few metres away. The only consideration would be that the sides of the bath may prove too high for older or less mobile guests. All food and drink seemed well enjoyed by everyone we spoke to. This proved a very enjoyable break.

Room was clean but a bit spartan. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Some items were a little frayed but overall we had a very pleasant experience

Spacious, comfortable room - clean and well-equipped. Helpful staff and outstanding breakfast. Plenty of parking, quiet surroundings.

The room was a decent standard. However, the WiFi is a public one, which did not work in the room. The gym was decent and I would have tried the pool but there were no lockable lockers unless you provided your own padlock.

The hotel is lovely and clean and bright, the bedrooms are well looked after and clean, the food was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The carpark really needs to be extended though!

Receptionist very friendly and helpful; clean room and perfect location for a hospital patient.

Stay was okay. Staff were very nice and helpful. However, from our experience the heating in most of the rooms was not working as we had stayed 2 days before this visit and this was the 3rd room we had stayed in without heating. Fan heaters were provided but had to be requested only after we discovered the problem.

It would have been nice to have had breakfast - in fact, any food at all. I checked in around 5:30 pm . The gentleman at reception was neither unpleasant nor welcoming. He said very little, except that there were two bookings, one of which I did not know of. That was the total of the conversation - except to tell me my room number, give me my key, and point to where the lifts were. So with no welcome or information offered on where to eat, drink, or anything at all,I proceeded to my room, thinking all the information would then be there. There was nothing apart from a leaflet on sustainability and a Do Not Disturb sign.I went downstairs back to reception, where there was a lengthy queue of people, so I proceeded to the hospital to find out where I would be going in the morning, as I had a very early admittance time. On the way back, there were still a lot of people, so I continued onwards and could see a sign for a restaurant, but not knowing if reservations were required, and at the risk of embarrassment, I declined to go in.I returned to my room and this is where I stayed until the morning.I had brought some yoghurt and fruit with me as advised by the hospital for my stay, so I ate this. The first face you see on arrival is a very important one and can either put someone at ease and make them feel comfortable and welcome, or not. He did not. The room was also cold all night and the heating would not go any higher. Not a great experience in a lovely hotel and room

The hotel is impressive, the staff attentive and helpful. The room was cleaned to a high standard every day. The food excellent and staff attentive.
