Staying at the Station Hotel was a lovely alternative to chain hotels (that lack character and are all the same). The Station Hotel was right by the station, which was great after a long train journey up, the building had traditional character and was tastefully decorated. Staff were genuine, friendly and helpful. The room was tasteful, comfortable, clean. Thanks for the stay.

Excellent base for an overnight stay as directly opposite the train station and Union Square shopping centre for food and shops. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel was spotless. Our room (230) was huge and very clean. Bathroom was nice and modern. Furniture was a bit of a,mismatch but perfectly functional. Only downside was the roasting hot radiator that wouldn't turn down. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.

Room was very nice, staff were excellent, my only regret was that you need to walk half way round the hotel if you use the parking facilities when I am sure there must be a possible access from the parking area.

Hardly slept the 2 nights i was there due to the noise outside the hotel. We had our room looking onto Guild Street. Cold shower in the morning due to not having hot/warm water.

The breakfast had a good selection of food.The staff were really nice. The room was clean but the only thing with the room there was a big dip or hole in the floorboards beside one of the beds which wasnt very safe. Never used the bar.
