Breakfast excellent and good parking

Great stay, close to everything!

Amazing room for the price. The bathroom was the size of some studio flats

OK for an overnight stay. Not the biggest room, but the bed was comfortable and the shower was decent. Breakfast was fine but better to go earlier rather than later. Didn't realise the hotel had it's own car park, but the train station car park over the road was cheap enough.

The Station Hotel has a very convenient location—right across from the train station / Union Square and within walking distance of the city centre. The price is reasonable, which makes it appealing for budget travellers. However, I wouldn’t stay here again. The room showed clear signs of wear and tear, particularly the bathroom door, which was falling apart at the bottom, and missing grout in many of the floor tiles. The double bed was actually two singles pushed together at different heights, which made it uncomfortable. Because of its location, the hotel was very noisy, and it seemed there was little soundproofing between the windows and the road meaning we barely slept. Staff were friendly, but the reception area had an overpowering smell. Non-smokers will also find it unpleasant that people smoke right at the main entrance. Overall, while the location and price are good, the room condition, noise, and entrance environment mean I would not return.

The room was comfy and clean. Our rooms were ready when we got there and they allowed us to check in early. It was difficult to find the car-park, but was secure when we did find it (right by the hotel, but a very small entry). Nice location. I would stay here again.

Lovely large clean room and lovely breakfast. Bit surprised when the bar shut at 10.30 pm on a Friday night without warning. Quite a lot of city noise at night so would recommend ear plugs.

Room was very comfortable warm and clean. And the beds were so comfortable.

First room we got was not suitable so changed room next morning. 2nd room was lovely, big and warm and nice bathroom. First room had a step up to toilet and washbasin which was really awkward for us , radiator didn't work so had 2 electic heaters on wheels which didn't heat the room.

Car park was full at the rear of building but they have another car park further up which we were not aware of. Staff were really friendly and bar was nice but a bit pricey.Breakfast was great and worth the extra to booking. Location is great for local shops and transport links. We would stay again if in the city.

Small but effective car park, 2 min walk from train station, loads of shops, very close to port.

Twin room had no windows! Disappointed that this wasn’t made clear during booking as a possibility. The photos don’t make it clear, most shots are of rooms with several windows. Location of hotel excellent, very convenient. However room brings it down in rating. Advertising windowless room clearly, at a slightly cheaper rate would be fair.

The room was clean although the decor is dated. Two challenges for me - only one light in the room on the wall. I had to ask for a bedside lamp. The staff was excellent at helping resolve that dilemma. The second issue was intermittent internet access.

Room wasnt ready on arrival (we arrived after check in time). The staff were pleasant. Our room was simple and tidy but the bathroom was in a poor state of repair - decided not to use the shower because of this.

This hotel is central Aberdeen , buses, rail link And excellant parking not far from hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful Room excellant ,clean ,sorry never used the bar as i was at a party elswhere

As expected the hotel was very close to the Railway Station. Very handy for local shops and restaurants. This is a very dependable hotel a d you cant fault it for the price. The room was clean the bed comfortable and towels were clean fluffy and there were plenty of them.

Great location.

Decent sized single room, but marks on walls and not as clean carpet as would have liked, but all in all, quite good. Plugs only on far other side of bed and in window sill so wasn't ideal (by table would have been better). Kettle provided but had to put it on window sill to get power, ideally think plug near table area is a must. Comfy bed. Shower very good with good temperature and power. One day I had no toilet rolls or shower gel so had to ask for it. Staff were lovely but not sure I should have had to ask. Fire alarm went off twice while staying there, I know these things happen but no apology or mention of it next morning, after disturbed sleep, wasn't great. Bit tired hotel but even with little niggles, I did have a good stay. Was good value and so I'm satisfied but do think some little improvements are needed.
