Freshly decorated room. Exceptionally clean. Amazing staff. Even more amazing food!!! This hotel is a gem!!! I don’t understand all of the bad reviews. We genuinely couldn’t find fault apart from lift not working

A good hotel to stay in for exploring. The hotel is going through some redecorating but could really do with a full program of renovation.

Staff are welcoming and provided great and friendly support throughout our stay. While conditions outside were "Baltic",(-6to 8), + snow, accessibility was a challenge uphill. However, once in the door, warmth of staff and heating of Hotel,including room was cuddly. Food and service in bar/ restaurant high standard. Hotel itself is Old.. therefore maybe a bit worn/tired in places, but Staff and Atmosphere make up for that.
