The walls are really thin, I was woke up both nights by noise in the parallel room, I could hear really loudly two people talking at 7am and I was wearing earplugs… also I asked for an iron and they don’t give any, it can’t be possible that in a hotel of this price range I need to go to the 8 th floor to go iron my clothes in a room, luckily when I went I did not need to wait. I could have a good hot shower but when using the top there was a leak in one side of the shower, I could see that other parts of the hotel and room are in a state of disrepair

Such a shame to give this rating as the room was fine and cleanliness was brilliant. However in the 4 nights we stayed we never managed to get a good nights sleep. The walls are worse than paper thin. We are not light sleepers (the opposite in fact) however you’d have to be dosed to sleep through the noise. Nothing excessive just terribly thin walls. We heard everything from a couple enjoying their time away from their kids (as we heard them say many times), the woman who came home drunk and threw up most of the night in the bathroom next door whilst leaving the TV on all night, the man snoring and not forgetting the group of 10 Americans who had found a late night bar after the NFL and just wanted to chat afterwards. It’s worth noting none of this noise was loud - all “normal levels” just terribly thin walls.

The room was clean, the hotel is on a busy street which was filled with plenty of places to eat and have a drink. Easy to catch a taxi but also very walkable to iconic Madrid locations.

The hotel was generally fine - the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room was less than convenient however, with the coffee bar 5 floors below and a 1 euro charge for each coffee pod required. The room had no cupboards, just shelving for clothes. The bed was comfortable however and the bathroom was clean and spacious. A generally good hotel in a nice location.
