This hotel is right next to the railway station and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We registered on the hotel app choosing to be environmentally friendly and agree to not having the room cleaned for the 3 days we were there and that gave us a refund on 10 CHF. We were surrounded by great restaurants and were able to walk to all the attractions However the metro was right outside if we needed it lovely room and comfy beds. We were given a Swiss pass which gave us free travel on trains and buses. Excellent service, we will be back!

The main attraction of this hotel is that it is across the street from the station. My moderate sized single room was a little noisy from the heavy traffic on the very busy street. Not a bad pace for one or two nights. Desk clerk was very personable and helpful. 7/10.

The hotel is definitely dated, but what it lacks in modern style it makes up for in location and staff. You honestly couldn’t ask for better convenience—it’s literally a 30-second walk to both the train and metro stations, which made getting around incredibly easy. The staff were warm, professional, and helpful throughout our stay, which made a big difference. Our room and bathroom were surprisingly spacious, and while the balcony didn’t have a view or any chairs, it was private, a good spot for fresh air, and useful for drying hand-washed clothes. The room also had a fridge and coffee machine, which were very handy. One thing to note: the hotel does have a very strong fragrance throughout. As someone sensitive to scents, I was a little concerned at first, but it didn’t end up bothering me. Still, it’s worth mentioning—it seems to be the same scent as their soaps, and while others may enjoy it, I personally wasn’t a fan. The lobby also has a really yummy café, which we enjoyed. We didn’t try the buffet, so I can’t comment on that. Overall, if you value location and helpful staff over modern décor, this hotel is a solid choice.
