This is the third time I've stayed at this hotel. There's a reason I keep going back. The price is good value for money. The buffet style breakfast is plentiful and tasty. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are lovely, friendly and accomodating. The hotel is very conveniently placed and everything I want to do is within easy walking distance, although should I wish to explore further afield the free travel card is a real bonus. I believe there is also a convenient parking garage, thpugh I have never used it. I will definitely be back again

We stayed for 2 nights to visit the Xmas markets. The hotel was perfectly located, 5 minutes to the lake and shops. We stayed in a studio on the ground floor, (had booked a twin room). The room was clean and functional but not the most modern. There was no kettle and when we asked at reception were advised we could use the little hob to boil a pan of water, it would jave been noce to be just given a kettle. The breakfast was very limited for the money, no fruit salad or hot food, just cereal and toast really. The staff on reception were friendly and generally helpful (except for the kettle issue).

Just unacceptable. The place is dirty, not comfortable, feels old and needs to be updated. Service is terrible, not air condition, not fan, not phone in the room, not enough towels. Not even fresh coffee, breakfast is a joke. Just stay away!

Stayed 2 nights. Ate breakfast there one morning
and it was okay. Our room was large with a kitchenette. Enjoyed walking down by the water
with all the statues along the way. Weather was
not the best, a lot of rain. Visited both the cheese
and chocolate factory and both tours were amazing
Only complaint about the hotel was the morning fellow at reception was not very friendly or helpful.

Within 15min walk to hotel, but they are slope, make it a bit hard to walk especially when you have heavy luggage. Basic supplies, cleaned towel every day but not cleaned cups.

Hotel Bon Port offers a practical, affordable place to stay in Montreux. And affordability is not a strong point of Montreux :)
The staff is genuinely courteous, helpful, and punctual.
The breakfast is light and fresh.

In a good location i guess you pay for what youre getting. main manager was grumpy, toilet wasnt cleaned properly with bleach and generally feels like a 70's hotel.

Not so modern rooms, but adequate size. Clean and very good room cleaning service. Always ask for the fan in summer as there is no AC available. Close to promenade and grocery stores. Bus stop is only 3 minute walk.
