Very polite and helpful staff. Wide selection for breakfast, and good quality. Bar prices are very reasonable. A good option of 1 drink per person for each day ypu dont require your room to be be made up. Staff are very knowledgeable of local walks etc.

Hotel was great. Staff was excellent . Only issues that I had was they had a super strong air freshener but i think it was to cover the musty water smell. I unplugged it so was fine. But I was a little upset that they didn’t let me know there was construction work literally behind my window at 7 am. Thankfully noting on weekend. A little note to let me know before hand would of been great . But all in all , I would still recommend this hotel. I would come back !

The room is very cute and quaint. The staff was amazing. Location was not too bad. It’s a very small hotel. It’s in the name lol. The only thing is the smell of mildew and there was a plug-in air freshener that made me really sick so I had to wrap it in a towel and hide it in the bathroom, but I guess that was to cover up the mildew smell. I get it, It’s a older inn. The drink vouchers was awesome treat ! I guess the two things that were an issue, but not too much, was their air freshener and the fact there was construction right in front of my window. So I didn’t sleep very well. I wish the hotel would’ve notified via email that there would be construction right behind. Oh, and there rooftop has an amazing view of the Matterhorn when the weather is clear!! Thanks !

Room was small but clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the construction next door made it impossible to sleep past 7am or to have a daytime nap, and windows had to be closed to keep out the dust. Staff were fantastic. Breakfast was delicious. When the construction is finished it will be nicer to stay there.

The location was excellent, located just off the main street in Zermatt. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. My room was small and a bit old (could do with a refresh), but it was good value for Zermatt where hotel prices are high.

This was a perfect budget hotel for a solo traveler in Zermatt. Very easy to find, about a 10min walk from the train station and right off the main street. I was able to drop off my luggage at the front desk in the morning and then had no problems checking in in the afternoon. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My night also included breakfast, which I was not aware of when booking, but a very nice surprise (fresh fruit, bread, cheese and deli meats, hard boiled eggs, coffee and juice). My room was a perfect size: full bed with a desk and wardrobe, private bathroom with shower and tub. Facilities were clean and very homey. I had no issues with noise. My only notes for future travelers are that the street is a little dark if you are walking by yourself at night, and the road is also very steep if you need somewhere accessible! 5/5 from me; I would definitely come back, and I would definitely recommend.

Bed & breakfast accommodation with a rooftop “courtyard” type setting with incredible views of the mountains, customer service was first class, nothing was too much trouble for them, I highly recommend staying here if you’re coming to Zermatt

Nice antique hotel similar to the ones we stayed in switzerland. The room is small, the stairwell is winding and narrow, the lift can carry two people. There is a rooftop terrace that provides a nice view of the city. The sign of the hotel is different from the name used in Expedia, it took us a while to find the entrance. 10 mins walk from the train station and very close to the town center. The last stretch to the hotel is a climbing. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast included in our stay and the food is good.
