Brand new hotel close from airport

This was a very nice hotel located in a convenient, beautiful area. So relaxing, I wish we had more time here and would love to come back. I highly recommend the hotel. The staff was also outstanding! Carol

A wonderful stay with our little toddler. Great for families. Bus stop so close and efficient. Staff are wonderful, always asking if you need anything. Only thing I would suggest to make it even better is a varied breakfast as the same thing everyday can get boring especially as it's paid for. Otherwise, views, location and staff all were 10/10

Beautiful location on the lake.

Comfortable stay but extremely noisy. We have stayed at the Royal Plaza for the last three years during Montreux Jazz but this year the noise was very much louder and we will probably stay elsewhere next year.

Great place

A very luxurious hotel… We booked a lake view room and it was so worth it! Rooms and amenities are super clean and beautiful. Stunning property in an even more beautiful location!!!

Great view from our room

We only enjoyed a one night stay in the great hotel. Our room was large with a great view of Lake Geneva. Good location - a 10 minute walk from the train station. The staff were very friendly.

I loved this hotel and loved Montreux! It's a beautiful town (though very expensive, like all of Switzerland). The room was spacious and comfortable with a gorgeous view from the balcony and the bathroom was also spacious. The breakfast was pretty good with decent options. This hotel is on near the end of the Montreux lake-side path so it's a long - but very pleasant - walk to Chateau de Chillon. I love walking though so that was a perk for me. Would absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The hotel was in a good location. Our room nice and spacious with lovely lake views! However the bed was very very hard. This may suit some people, I guess it’s down to personal preference, On checking in to our room, realised our in room safe wasn’t working, we rang reception who sent a member of staff up in a short time, she clarified there was an error with the safe, we were told a technician would sort it the next day. This did not happen, not ideal to have no real secure place for expensive watches and passports!! Wasn’t given any apology or solution either. The real dissatisfaction came on our last evening, when I realised we only had coffee sachets green or camomile tea, I rang reception asking for a couple of English breakfast teabags…. Our flight was very early the next morning, so wouldn’t be having breakfast which we had paid for as part of our holiday package… Reception rang back to tell us we had used our allowance for the room and we would be charged for extra teabags!! Despite not using the coffees sugars or other condiments,, regardless we were told in a rude manner we were t entitled to a couple of teabags. I was pretty disgusted to be honest,, the male staff on shift at that time was very dismissive and unhelpful. ( not all staff were like this tbh) So our 5 o clock start to the day was without a hot drink.. for a 5 star establishment I was very surprised at their treatment and attitude towards hotel clients. The hotel was quite unorganised and chaotic!

We had a junior suite with a balcony and a panoramic view of the lake and mountains. It was fantastic. The location is excellent. Excellent service in the restaurants. And our daily housekeeping was exceptional. Great place.

Our check in was simple and our room was ready around 1pm which was perfect . Our junior suite was lovely. Would have preferred a separate bedroom but did realise that junior suites normally are just bigger rooms. Balcony was great with fabulous views with the right weather over the lake. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of wardrobe space with hangers and importantly trouser & skirt hangers. Wi fi was great and a very informative desk was very useful. Very happy overall and would definitely return.
