We booked a 2-night stay here on JAN2026. Everything was ok and the staff were awesome. The only complaint that we had is that the walls were thin and so if there were any noisy neighbours, you would definitely hear them. Other than that, we would definitely book here again.

Room is basic enough, walking distance to Taipei Main Station and Ximending walking district. Note they don't have breakfast but some options are around. Some noise from the street can be heard but mainly during the day.

The hospitality of the property was great! They have free coffee, water, biscuits for their guest during their stay! Location is very strategic! It's near everywhere! They need to do something about the bed bugs, though.

No matter the cleanliness, services of staff, location are satisfactory. Particular the free coffee and tea are highly recommended. Only there's not enough self to put clothes and bags as we are four persons in a room, it is really a struggle in handling clothes and Rucksack.

Excellent location, about 15 min walk to TPE Main Station and NTU MRT Station. 7/11 is a stone throw away. Complimentary coffee/tea/water provided in the lobby area. Seats and tables are also arranged for you to sit there. We enjoyed our stay at Chair Man Hotel.

I would give 4 stars to this property. Although the room is small, it is expected. All the necessity are ready, including slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste, hair dryer...and a bathtub too. It's perfect actually. However, i have to deduct 0.5 star that when i check-in at 18:30 and walked into the room, the room was not cleaned, I have to report to the staff and then wait for 15 minutes until it is cleaned for me to move in. I need to deduct another 0.5 stars because the soundproofing is not good. If other guests talk loudly, I could hear, in which affect my rest much. So, 4 stars only

Overall a poor experience, building was old, room was small, refrigerator didn’t work, and housekeeping supplies weren’t provided sufficiently. Location was ok as it was in between ximen and Taipei main station however not too close to either.

The hotel is a bit far from Taipei Main station, maybe 15mins walk. If you have big luggage, is best to use the lift at Z1 Taipei City Mall exit as that is the only lift available at the Z Zone. The hotel nearest exit is Z10 but you have the use the stairs. The hotel has lots of interesting snacks at the lobby which I like trying. Thank you for that!😊 Just a few roads away there is also a street full of breakfast shops in the morning. Ximending is also nearby, but I prefer the Carrefour further down at Guilin Street for my souvenir shopping. Overall a pleasant stay. They cleaned my room daily, and it was super convenient for me to take a direct bus to Maokong from the hotel's nearby bus stop.

2年前に泊まった時の印象が良かったので今回も選んだのですがちょっとがっかりしました。水回りやタオルがボロボロ。歯ブラシなし。シーツが薄汚い。トイレットペーパー一階にラウンジがあるのはとても高得点。
