Our stay was deeply disappointing due to troubling décor and poor service. Upon arrival, we were surprised to see numerous statues in the lobby and common areas depicting what appeared to be racial caricatures of servants.
As my wife is from the Caribbean, we found this imagery to be offensive and insensitive, evoking a painful historical context. It made us very uncomfortable in what should be a welcoming environment.
When we politely raised our concern at the front desk, the staff response was unprofessional and dismissive. We were told they were "just statues" and not to be concerned. This showed a complete lack of understanding and made a bad situation worse.
We cannot recommend this hotel to other travelers. We hope management will reconsider this décor and provide staff with better training on cultural sensitivity. We also expect Expedia to be mindful of such issues when listing properties.
We will not be returning.

An excellent newly renovated hotel near the airport but nothing else. Very convenient connection to the airport or the city by MRT. However if your flight arrives after midnight the only transport from the airport are over priced airport cabs or overpriced Uber. This is not the hotel’s fault just the way the system works here

Very friendly staff at the desk, I was amazed at this morning I was walked to my taxi ( never in my life, this was awesome). You need to work on the cleanlines of the room, minor details but a big deal for me( there were hairs in the bathroom and the carpet )

Great for an overnight stay for the airport - 5 min drive. Room and bed were comfortable. Big walk in shower. Dinner buffet for 400 NTD with big selection although food could have been hotter. Staff were friendly and helpful. Organised us a taxi and even gave us a breakfast box as we left at 6.15am.
