The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, only 2 mins-walk from Daan Park (exit 1 for stairs, exit 6 for elevator). Surrounded by convenient stores: PX-Mart, 7-11, Family Mart. 7 mins-walk to Yongkang street. Highly recommend for those who want a peaceful area during night time.

A little bit old but well maintained. Helpful staffs are always ready to help you. Cleaning service was also excellent. Provide 4 bottles of water per day and it was really good during the hot and humid daytimes to keep you hydrated. There also provide bananas and small snacks everyday..

The rooms are very nice and staff too. Great views over the park. The acoustics are great and you can hear guests ( who tend to talk rather loudly) in the corridors ar all times of day and night. Other than that it was a lovely stay. Location next to the park is awesome as so much wildlife to go and see.

I never write reviews- but for the Rido I am happy to! My partner and I stayed here for our last two nights in Taiwan. Firstly, being across from Daan park was a perfect location, a couple of minute away walk from the mrt. The rooms are very well detailed providing everything I would want in a room along with the decor that continues throughout the hotel itself. Gives an older feel but very clean and quiet. Staff were helpful regarding any questions, easy check in & out and no issues with leaving our bags after check out. The day we had our room cleaned, we came back to a surprise of snacks! (Bananas, crackers & a sweet). Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Very lovely place right next to Da’an Park.Jacuzzi tub was excellent. Staff let me leave a small backpack there while I took a side trip to Japan. No charge. Staff was great.

Very nice location. Walking distance to Yongkangje and easy to get to which ever district. The rooms are well maintained. Though I don’t know if it’s the same for all Taiwanese hotels but it has a damp smell. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi after each day of walking. Would recommend but to choose a larger room overlooking the park.

This is our second time to stay at this hotel. At first we were given a much smaller room than the one last time. (We booked a two beds room). After talking with the staff, the manager switched us back to the room we had last time.

This hotel is located at the convenient location with 2 minutes walk to the redline subway. Also a big park - DA A Forest park at the cross street. Staff are courteous, professional with fast answers for what you need. I am extremely enjoying the big bath tub in my room. Thumbs up!

Great location near the Metro and across from the park. Staff are super friendly and considerate. Breakfast was adequate except the coffee could be less watery. My main complaint was the smell of the moldy air throughout the hotel — this is a struggle for many hotels in Taipei where it’s just very humid and it’s hard to keep things dry, especially heavy carpeting.

Hotel was perfect! The front desk could speak English, the breakfast had a variety of local cuisine plus eggs, sausage, toast. My room was lovely, comfortable and very quiet. Also across the street from a BEAUTIFUL park, right by a train stop, and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Just a mile from the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial. As a Westerner who speaks no Mandarin, I was VERY comfortable here and walking the whole area.
