Good location. But very difficult to locate

While this is mostly a self-service facility, the staff were very helpful getting us checked in after a long flight.

Room was fine. It did not look like what was advertised. Self check inn didn’t work so had to keep running outside to the phone at the front of the building to get checked in. Good location to the night market but thankfully only stayed one night. Would not have stayed long term.

It's kinda scary when you first go in the building. And no laundry room, and no front desk person all the time.

Tiny room. Automatic check in. The price is right. Night market at 100 meters. Stay here is ok.

The stay for 7D6N is ok cos is really near shilin night market. But the room quite small for our family of 4. The pillow is super thin and we asked for more pillow they wanna charge us. The pillow is thin until very hard to sleep so they really should change to a better quality pillow if they dun wanna provide extra pillows. Overall still not that bad and customer services is consider fast and responsive.

We were in room 301 so we got a window. The check in process is not user friendly.

It was very good to stay there in a reasonable condition. The room was very clean and cozy enough to sleep well. Just staying there for night and having a solo trip around Taipei city, it was very good choice to be there near Shilin night market. If I have any chance to be there, someday, I’d like to have a reservation again.

With no windows, an unmanned front desk, and no luggage storage, don’t expect luxury services at this hotel. But if you’re looking for a centrally located place steps from the Shilin Night Market and are a generally low-maintenance person who will spend most of your time outside, this may be the perfect place for you. I recommend that you download Line app beforehand, as that is the easiest way to reach the hotel staff should you need to. Unlike other reviews, we found our room and the property clean and spacious enough if you only have carry-on sized baggage. The only issue we had was that some of the charging ports didn’t work properly, but it wasn’t a huge issue for us.

I didn’t get an email after I booked until I got into my room. It took one hour for me to check in and took another hour to get power in my room. There is even no soap for washing hands.

The room was very small, no hand soap or hair conditioner. The bathroom was tiny size, too.

The accommodation's location is excellent, right in the middle of the famous Shilin Night Market and just a 10-minute walk from Jiantan MRT station. However, it's worth noting that there are no room cleaning services during the two-week stay. Additionally, the reception is not manned, which can make the check-in process challenging. On the bright side, the price is reasonable, making it a convenient and affordable option.

There is no staff and you need to call the staff numerous times at the entrance.

The latest check-in time is 7PM - which is way too early and had to be looked up by the customers. I arrived at 7:15PM and was stuck at the door for 30 minutes until someone answered the call for service at around 7:45PM. If you are checking in after 7PM, tell them in advance or simply look for another place to stay to keep yourselves out of hassle and panic. Nothing is automatically assisted except for 2 bottles of water every morning. If you want new towels or new toiletries, tell them in advance, there may not be anyone working at that moment, which was frustrating for me. Also, bear in mind that there is no laundry, no breakfast, no luggage storage after check-out, basically near-zero services.

Location was very convenient. However it was very difficult to communicate with the property owners. I tried for days via phone to find out the check in process and was only able to get the access code the night before I flew. Even after arrival I could not figure out the process as the front desk was unmanned. The cleaning person was very helpful but she is not the person in charge. Even after I figured out how LINE works, the responsiveness was lacking. One lady who answered my call was very rude and even hung up on me after keeping me on hold.

Certainly doesnt have a facade that i would associate with accommodation. It doesnt offer any luggage storage and seems lacking in helping tourists achieve pleasant stay with early check out at 11am where breakfast has to be taken outside. Wouldnt recommend anyone with spouse or family to consider.

Only one time housekeeping during 9 days stay, poor amenities quality , staff not friendly
