This was my fifth stay at S31 and I keep coming back for several reasons. The hotel is conveniently located, not far from both MRT and BTS stations. It`s based in the Em District with several large shopping malls around with tens of choices for both dining and shopping. I usually stay at Duplex Room which is very spacious and I would say a very good value for the price. The staff has always been very courteous and made the stay experience that much better. And I last but not least, I have not mention breakfast. One of my favourite things about my stay with large variety of choices.

Gave me the wrong room even though I told them. They would not listen or look at my mail booking. Terrible service, is this how you treat customers. And took 1,000thb as deposit. Not seen it back in the bank at all yet

Everything was good except no ironing facilities, breakfast was good but limited , also the windows in our room were dirty from the outside and a lack of towels which was delivered once we asked

The concierge Jack made our stay! Also the staff in the breakfast restaurant were incredible. The hotel does need some updating. The lobby felt like something from 1997… also had a weird piano playing itself. Our room could have used a serious cleaning - carpet could have used a trim cause edge was all frayed. There were Lots of things that were really helpful - ie a bathroom as soon as you come in from outside on the ground level , a small seating area where you can charge your phone, (this was amazing for our last day as we had a late flight and had already checked out).the room was strangely set up - and had to keep our suitcases in the living room area downstairs with the main bathroom and bed upstairs. No space there to keep anything. Location was great and transportation was easy either by grab, metro or train. Having never been to Bangkok I had booked hotel based on “features”’they offered ie restaurants, rooftop bar and spa. Well - spa was closed, bar was not on the rooftop and restaurants did not have the vibe. BUT all this being said anything you could Want or imagine is close by. The concierge service and amazing breakfast certainly made up for the downsides. Once we got used to the room configuration it was indeed nice to have the living room space.

Stayed there 10 years ago and had good memories. It’s still a fine choice at a decent price. But it does approaches the age of a refurb. I had to insist a room upgrade as a VIP member. I think Expedia isn’t doing enough to inform hotels about the perks it brings. It’s not the hotels fault.

Amazing value for the price! Close to BRT and has a nice cafe on site. Free buffett breakfast is delicious. Massage and spa site as well. 7 eleven is just down the way a few meters. I really enjoyed the quiet stay here. HIGHLY Recommend!!!

The A/C in the room has a very loud fan. If you turned it off the room got too hot . So we ended up managing the fan through the night. Across the street was a very bright electronic billboard which illuminate at 5 am and we had a hard time blocking out the light. The room itself was nice
