The to in our room could be digital. Other than that the experience was amazing. Lot of additional facilities by the pool and great romantic dining .

The grounds of this resort are beautiful but the lack of dining options and attitude of the staff would likely prevent us from staying again.

My expectations were high. The hotel has great marketing and the visuals on their site looked amazing. In reality the rooms were a little tired. We booked a two bed/ 2 bath suite with sea view which is one of their best rooms. I expected decent in-room coffee but this doesn’t come as standard. A cable car is available to take you to rooms on the hillside but this runs at limited daytime hours. Although buggies are available if you want to wait. There was considerable off-season maintenance work going on which was noisy and very disruptive. I would expect to know this when booking so I can make the choice to stay elsewhere. I think keeping this information from guests is actually quite dishonest. As a result much of the resort was not open and there was no evening entertainment. We chose the low season because it suits our schedule and we prefer it to not be super busy but felt that more effort was needed to create a fun atmosphere in the evenings. The private Beach is excellent and pool would be great but due to maintenance the loungers are very tightly crammed together leaving no space for privacy. This is billed as a spa resort. The spa is very good but I expect the wellness theme to reflect in the fitness centre. The gym is quite poor. For those wanting to workout properly there are no weights machines/cables. No pull up bar. No barbells or plates. And the dumbbell set is incomplete with weight markings missing from many and the odd dumbbell missing.

The swimming pools are some of the best we’ve seen—winding, peaceful, and surrounded by gardens and charming animal statues that make the whole place feel magical. Staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, whether it was arranging transportation, booking tours, or offering local recommendations. The breakfast buffet was full of delicious Thai and Western options, and dining by the sea at their restaurant was a highlight. We especially loved the quiet, relaxed atmosphere compared to busier resorts—perfect for couples or families who want a peaceful stay. And the location? Ideal. Easy to access attractions like Big Buddha, Patong Beach, and the ferry to Phi Phi Islands. Highly recommend staying here, whether it’s your first time in Phuket or your tenth. Thavorn has that rare combination of charm, comfort, and unforgettable views. We’ll definitely be back.

The pool was great, the breakfast was very good. Our room wasn't ready when we checked in but they gave us a voucher for cocktails which was fine. We had to call reception for an extra towel and robe and the door to our room wasn't working properly so we had to request it be fixed twice in the 5 days we were there.

Thavorn Resort was a really great and gorgeous resort to stay at. It had all the facilities i needed and the beach was right there. The surrounding gardens were beautiful and well maintained. Staff were friendly and very helpful. A all round great experience. Will stay there again when in Phuket.

Loved this property. I had the best time. We got the all inclusive. I promise you won’t regret it. It’s a beautiful property. The only thing I will say is that the soda was not included in all inclusive. Lol. But luckily. There’s a 7eleven walking distance or just charge it to the room.

We had a wonderful stay at Thavorn Beach Resort recently. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite because we were with our tween/teen and the space was amazing. A lounge area separated our king room from their "room" which was basically an interconnected standalone room with bathroom. The view from the room was amazing. But what was the greatest for me, was the staff. Every single team member had a smile and greeting, every moment, every day. They were so sincere and genuine and truly helped make our stay memorable. Things like coming over to me poolside with a cake, singing Happy Birthday, when they discovered it was my birthday, and even things like remembering all of our names, are things that I'll always remember and appreciate. Jan, in particular, is someone we will always remember dearly - thanks Jan! Another stand out for me, was the gardens. They really are remarkable and I enjoyed weaving my way around discovering new hidden treasures each day. The buffet breakfasts, pizza and cocktails by the pool, all truly amazing. Everyone there obviously works very hard each day to create an amazing holuday for their guests. I'd definitely recommend it.

Away from the main city

This is my wife's & my second stay here and it didn't disappoint at all. Magnificent resort which we can't wait to get back to.

Location is great, staff was great but….needs major updating ….no ventilation in bathroom, ice cold showers for 3 days, house keeping skipped us, mequitos we’re def an issue, food and breakfast buffet just ok. We were talked into $3500 baht dinner because they said there would be a fire show but as we finished and paid for that dinner they cancelled the fire show. Great view but can’t really swim much cuz of the rocks.

The property is absolutely stunning. Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious The only complaint I have is the resort could use some upgrades. The beds were too low and mattress was a little bit too hard. Towels were hard to get extras and face cloths. My handicap husband had some difficulty managing the room. I overall enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful property with unique and eye catching works of art & architecture throughout the property. Staff helpful and professional courteous. Good food. Room well appointed, comfy bed. Variety of in room mini bar options snacks and drinks. Clean! Thank you. Enjoyed the cable ride to and from room. Room with an ocean view awesome. The large pool very interesting with twists and turns and water very warm. The beach accessible and so close steps from the pool, the best.

The property was beautiful. Quiet beach, and awesome pool. We did an all inclusive option. It was ok. We were expecting more like a Mexico/Caribbean type of all inclusive. We were only allowed to choose from a smaller menu for food and drinks. We aren’t major foodies, and we went off site for some meals as well, so it wasn’t a show stopper, just something to be aware of, for others. It was our first time in Thailand and we have been sad about leaving ever since we left. Wonderful property all in all, and definitely hope to visit again. Peaceful and quiet, yet only a short tuk tuk ride to the action of Patong Beach!
