Absolutely loved Atlantis. Our favorite was the dolphin experience. Absolutely worth the money. We’ve done two dolphin experiences at other places and this one was by far the best. Happy dolphins and happy trainers. The beaches were clean, the restaurants were great and best of all, you can drink the tap water in your room and they have bottle refill stations through out. Multiple pools and we always found available loungers. The loungers have a shade cover which was very useful but some were broken. Getting towels was very easy and convenient, no need to bring one to exchange one, you get unlimited towels. We had a Harbour View at the Reef. Not only did we have a view of the harbour, we had a view of the ocean from the balcony and the Dolphin Cay! Every morning we watched the dolphins from the balcony with our coffee. Absolutely loved our trip.

This trip was good. Property was excellent. Bring lots of cash if you’re planning on going off the resort. Things are pretty expensive on and off the resort.

The whole family loved the vacation, even though the children preferred the pool above everything else. I really didn't understand them with the beautiful blue ocean right there. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel store was a good place to pick up a few additional items or a snack. There were so many options for eating. All of the restaurants were top notch. It was very convenient having a Starbucks inside the hotel. It was easy to get around the property using the shuttles and everything was within walking distance if the mood hit us to walk. I, especially, liked the water park. The lazy river required a little paddling, but it was still a lot of fun. The water slides were amazing. The hotel staff was friendly and curteous. The rooms were cleaned daily. The children already want to go back for another trip.

Just finish six days at the Atlantis we stayed in the reef hotel, which was an added benefit of having a full kitchen, which is a plus with kids and also the fact that they’re not many breakfast places near/in the hotel. We were able to buy breakfast stuff to make in the room from the gift shopsconveniently located in the lobby and open 24/7. I would recommend to any family to stop at the local grocery store before they get to the hotel to buy water and other knickknacks that I’m much cheaper than on site. Our room was large and up-to-date. Every single person at the Atlantis resort was pleasant and seemed happy to work there. We have traveled to many resorts and the constant battle of finding a beach/pool chairs is not an issue at Atlantis. They have it very well organized and ample supply. The ocean is very close to the hotel so from almost every room you can see the beautiful water as well as the pools! Overall, we had a AMAZING stay..The food at the restaurants was very delicious however EXPENSIVE. For a family of five we never paid less than $250 even at the snack bar restaurants for lunch or dinner. We will definitely return great job Atlantis for making a memorable vacation spot!

READ BEFORE YOU BOOK – Reef Hotel (Family of 5, kids 1–7). For the price, this property does NOT deliver the value. KIDS CLUB: $75 per child for just 2 hours (not a typo). Only one kids club serves all four hotels, so capacity is limited and expensive. WATER PARK: Excellent. This is the highlight of Atlantis. POOL/BEACH: Pools are NOT heated, so avoid outside peak summer. Service is very poor. We sat at the Reef pool over an hour without seeing a server. If you want food/drinks, sit near a bar or restaurant. The surf is a bit rough, so don’t come if you want a true Caribbean beach experience. RESTAURANTS: Very limited at the Reef (Starbucks + basic pool food). Better options are at Cove/Coral, but Cove restaurants are often fully booked—you must reserve in advance. Coral is a long walk with kids. Only one buffet (Royal) and it’s average at best. We ended up eating at Shake Shack multiple times due to lack of availability and disappointing food quality. DOLPHIN/SEA LION: We did both. If choosing one, pick sea lions. Dolphins had no photographer. You can’t bring your phone in the water, so someone on shore must take pics. If dolphins don’t have a photographer, skip it. BOTTOM LINE: Great water park, but poor service, limited dining, and high costs make this hard to justify for families. In short: come for the sea lion experience, water park, anquarium and Shake Shack only :-)

This resort is clean, well-kept and keeps to the underwater lost city theme with underground caverns filled with fish, waterslides that go into shark tanks etc. There is so much to see and do that no one will be bored. My only negative is how expensive the food and drinks are. If you are planning on eating breakfast, lunch and dinner on the resort property, plan to budget about $200USD per day for each adult and about $50USD per day per child. Some rooms have fully equipped kitchens and there is a few grocery stores on Paradise Island where you can get groceries if you want to save some money and cook for yourself. Other than that, the resort is absolutely beautiful and we will 100% be back.

Completely fails to deliver for the price and set expectations. - Staff all look miserable, like you are actively making their day worse just by your presence at the resort. - Long lines for water park rides, competing with six cruise ships a day and no perks like priority lines for being a guest - "Included" water park does not include $25/day locker so you are walking cold and wet half a mile to and from the hotel - Tons of smoking in public areas, including the beach - Very few beach chairs, many broken, all empty and blocked by towels staff refuse to remove - Desalinated tap water tastes awful, no free bottled water or water filters, water is $3-4/can, soda is $5/can. - Showers rapidly run out of hot water - Mattress okay, pillows are bad with no pillow menu, no blankets (ask for many if you call, they are super thin), no bathrobes. Room service is inconsistent, only got coffee refills once. - Food is obscenely priced even by resort standards, portions are small even at the Mexican restaurant, many mistakes in orders and charges. $60 for 18-inch pizza with four drinks is the best food we had all stay (Margaritaville is pretty good too). Ice cream is $7+ a scoop. Cheapest alcohol is $12. Everything comes with a 10% VAT and 15% gratuity so add 25% to whatever you are expecting. Breakfast buffet line is out the door and down the hall.

Overall Amazing place. The beaches are spectacular and pristine. We snorkled every day and every day we saw sea turtles and tons of beautiful fish. In the hotel grounds there are pools with sea turtles, rays, sawfish, sharks, etc. The waterslides are exciting even for older kids and adventurous adults, and the the rapid river is huge, wraps around the whole park area and is tons of fun. There are lifeguards all over, and lifejackets readily available for little ones. The beaches have plenty of loungers with shade covers. There are lots of options for food and drinks while you by the pool or on the beach. The pools are also numerous and beautifully designed. Lots of options for dining. Lots of nightlife as well: casino, night club, teen night club, arcade, a colonial style street scape with reataurants, stores, and cool places to grab drinks. Truly relaxing spot, and incredibly beautiful. Ok so what wasn't so great: The prices are wild...no other way to say it. This is partly due to the fact that this is an island and everything is imported (food an drink). But everyhing at Atlantis is exceptionally expensive. A pizza will set you back 70 bucks. Minigolf costs 44 dollars US per person. Why? The place was built in 1990 and is showing its age. Lots of minor repairs needed. Usually 50% of waterslides open on any given day. Overall amazing though and wonderful people. We'd go back.

We stayed at the Reef for 6 nights. Overall, we had a good week. Check in wasn’t as smooth as we would have liked. The room wasn’t ready until after 4:30 and our bags had been taken to storage before we realized it would be several hours before a room was ready. The staff were very accommodating and gave us a small upgrade and a small credit for the inconvenience. The resort property is very large. Besides our own room, the resort is also very loud - the pools, the beach, the restaurants, even walking the paths - there is noise or loud music playing everywhere. The only peaceful spot was areas of the beach away from the resort chairs. Beach/pool chairs were often all reserved by 9:30am - get up early if you want to claim your spot. Nothing was ever removed from what we could see even though signs are posted to that effect. The restaurants ranged from amazing to poor. You get what you pay for, but be prepared to pay $$$$ to enjoy a great meal. Our favourites were Amber followed by Carmine’s. I would not recommend Murray’s at all. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, from the front desk, cleaning staff, pool/beach staff and the restaurants. The only real complaint I have would be about the guests themselves. The amount of garbage that was left behind on the beach or at the pools was disappointing. If you have young kids, like water parks and a Vegas type atmosphere, you will enjoy this resort.

For the price, more should be entailed with the room. Water was scarce… no ice. Little things missed.

Everything is OVERPRICED! A bottle of water $10.00, bag of chips $15.00! Beautiful beach and resort but buy food at the market which you can’t walk to….
