Absolutely love staying at the reef . Staff was very friendly, very helpful. It wasn’t overwhelming with people. I love the privacy that it has as well as the beach area on this side . 10/10.

Highly recommended for kids.

- shuttle service could be improved to run more shuttles at peak hours. This was probably the most hindering aspect of our trip by staying at Reef. It only made us decide to only stay at Royal if coming to Atlantis. - buffet options. If it was possible, the menu was exactly the same as our last time. There was nothing new introduced. Would prefer more choices of Bahamian cuisines at buffet. - Access to downtown, prices regarding cabs need to be revisited with the hotel and taxi services. To get to downtown and back is a$45 USD ride if you ride with 3 people, but reduces to $30 USD if only riding with 2 people. This needs to change - the presence of one more additional person or even 2- shouldn’t change the fair. It feels like we are just getting gauged.

Decent stay overall, pricey at the resort- decent / more affordable food outside though.

Rooms were great. Wanted adjoined rooms and even though I chatted through the bot to request Atlantis was not aware. That was annoying. Staff was great. Food was incredibly expensive. Poseidon’s Table was not worth $400. Field trip was very good, shake shack was so fun with the aquarium. The pool and beach and water park were excellent. The extra tipping was a bit much. We were already getting hammered with the cost of food. I have already recommended Atlantis to family and friends.

We stayed at the Reef at Atlantis for 5 days and 4 nights. Overall the grounds were immaculate, the rooms were spacious, staff were very friendly, and the decor was impressive. The downsides were that the waterpark was one of the main reasons we went, but every day only 3 of the slides were open. It would seem they couldn't get enough lifeguards to have all of the slides open which was fairly disappointing. However, the "lazy river" is an engineering marvel and we were all blown away by the fun rapids sections, how extensive and long it was, and how well it ran. Food is quite expensive at about 1.5x to 2x what you would expect in Canada for what you're getting. The distance between places is also incredibly vast. Like it's fine overall, but if you're staying at the reef, but want to go to the main beach or the water park...try not to forget anything as it's a +1 km walk lol We knew most of this going in (except for the non-running-water slides) so had reasonable expectations. Overall, pretty solid resort, with friendly staff, but likely wouldn't go back mostly as the style and enormity of it isn't really our style.

Another great stay at Atlantis. 4th time for my wife and I. Kids really enjoyed it this time around as they were older and couldn’t stay out of water park. First time at The Reef and room was good. Enjoyed being able to do breakfast and lunch in house. Only recommendation is rooms are too dark and dreary. Need a remake and some modern looking tones.

We loved our stay. The beds were so comfortable, the sofa was so nice to lounge on and the room was clean and spacious. The purified water tastes off and the bottled water on the resort is atrociously priced but you can walk to a grocery store to get some normal tasting water. We liked all the walking but someone else might not like the distance to the other amenities. We loved that the Starbucks opened at 6am in the lobby of the reef. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we hope to go back.

Overall friendliness of the staff

The room was beautiful and very spacious! Housekeeping did a great job. The breakfast options at the resort are very limited, so be prepared!

Atlantis was wonderful. The only draw back is the price of food.

We had a wonderful time! It’s our second time going to the Atlantis reef. We loved everything about it the food, the staff. We highly recommend!
