DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul - Sirkeci

The Doubletree Sirkeci had comfortable beds, quiet rooms, wonderful shower, and attentive staff. It is close to markets, and msonuments. I highly recommend it.

Cleaning the room was minimal and we noticed they never vacuumed the carpet during our six day stay. Staff weren’t especially helpful or friendly other than one person at reception and one of the bar staff. The location is fantastic if you want to visit the sights in the Old City.

We were four people and the pull out couch was so uncomfortable we had to take the mattress off and put it on the floor! Everything else was amazing!

I paid extra for a room with Bosphorus view and there is no view. If I had known, I would of reserved a standard room and saved a lot. The photos and description is misleading. Instead of extending my stay, I moved to the Intercontinental hotel with a view on the Bosphorus.

The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful even when I encountered some technical difficulties.

No parking, only car valet. Hasn’t swimming pool Breakfast tasty, but little choose

The hotel is excellent in many regards. The staff were all extremely curteous and ready to help with anything we needed, including arranging tours, and restaurant recommendations. The room was nice, and always clean. The free upgrade to an upper floor room with balcony was a nice touch. Breakfast was very nice with many options, and made to order omlets, and were even able to place special orders for items not redily available. I can't get over how convinient the hotel location is. It is a short walk to old town monuments, Gulhane park, the water front, and both the grand and spice bazars, and the tram station. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel, staff were extremely attentive and all go out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The location was very convenient for exploring Istanbul. We would definitely stay here again.

Its great with kids. Very short walk to main attractions eg blue mosque. Incredibly close to metro. Rooms are very very nice and overall highly recommend! Very safe location

Location is great, 10 mins walk to the blue mosque and Topkapi palace. We had a suite, sofa bed was uncomfortable but the room overall was nice and spacious for us as a family of 4. Housekeeping was very basic, sheets changed after 2 days, no surfaces were dusted, we stayed 5 nights and I could see a layer of dust on all the tables. Breakfast is very basic, you can order an omelette/pancakes if you like but no where near the 5 star quality you would expect from a Hilton. Restaurant Staff don’t even ask you for drinks it’s more a help yourself - not what you would expect when paying a premium price. Front desk and guest relations staff were lovely. Overall average hotel and not worth the money you pay.

This was a great hotel to stay in, within walking distance of Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque but also close to tram lines if you don't want to walk. Hotel was clean, quietly and staff were lovely. Would definitely stay again. Istanbu is amazing, a feast for the senses.

The best location ever. Walking distance to public transportation and all major tourist places. Will definitely go back.

We were happy with the helpful staff all around. We would stay there again. I had certain expectations based on hiltons and similar ones in the US. Insincere, unavailable, nickel & dime-ing. I was happy to find this was nothing like that. Staff were uniformly helpful and cheerful.
