DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul - Sirkeci

The hotel is excellent in many regards. The staff were all extremely curteous and ready to help with anything we needed, including arranging tours, and restaurant recommendations. The room was nice, and always clean. The free upgrade to an upper floor room with balcony was a nice touch. Breakfast was very nice with many options, and made to order omlets, and were even able to place special orders for items not redily available. I can't get over how convinient the hotel location is. It is a short walk to old town monuments, Gulhane park, the water front, and both the grand and spice bazars, and the tram station. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel, staff were extremely attentive and all go out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The location was very convenient for exploring Istanbul. We would definitely stay here again.

Its great with kids. Very short walk to main attractions eg blue mosque. Incredibly close to metro. Rooms are very very nice and overall highly recommend! Very safe location

Location is great, 10 mins walk to the blue mosque and Topkapi palace. We had a suite, sofa bed was uncomfortable but the room overall was nice and spacious for us as a family of 4. Housekeeping was very basic, sheets changed after 2 days, no surfaces were dusted, we stayed 5 nights and I could see a layer of dust on all the tables. Breakfast is very basic, you can order an omelette/pancakes if you like but no where near the 5 star quality you would expect from a Hilton. Restaurant Staff don’t even ask you for drinks it’s more a help yourself - not what you would expect when paying a premium price. Front desk and guest relations staff were lovely. Overall average hotel and not worth the money you pay.

This was a great hotel to stay in, within walking distance of Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque but also close to tram lines if you don't want to walk. Hotel was clean, quietly and staff were lovely. Would definitely stay again. Istanbu is amazing, a feast for the senses.

The best location ever. Walking distance to public transportation and all major tourist places. Will definitely go back.

We were happy with the helpful staff all around. We would stay there again. I had certain expectations based on hiltons and similar ones in the US. Insincere, unavailable, nickel & dime-ing. I was happy to find this was nothing like that. Staff were uniformly helpful and cheerful.

El hotel ha bajado mucho en la calidad de la habitaciones, ya habíamos estado anos atrás. Necesita una renovación. La experiencia con el staff al check inn fue terrible , por lo que mi review es calificado de TERRIBLE EXPERIENCIA Tuvimos la mala suerte de ser atendido por un personal que rompió todas las reglas básicas al recibir un cliente que ha pagado por un servicio de hospedaje, entregando una habitación defectuosa , negando el derecho del cliente a no recibir un producto defectuoso en el check inn y negando escuchar cualquier reclamo del cliente. Aunque el personal no volvió a estar de servicio en toda la estadía de los 5 días, no repara la desagradable experiencia vivida, por culpa de absoluta ausencia de relaciones publicas, y atenciones al consumidor de un personal de la cadena Doubletree.

The hotel is nice , clean

Well I had so many issues with my First stay my reservation was double room and I got small and tight room I asked the recipe and they said this is the room which is wrong by the time I was looking for a hotel in Istanbul I found way better prices but Because I’m a customer with Hilton I did not mind to pay more to relax and get everything in point but I was super disappointed and my wife as well. I paid almost 850$ for 5 nights Second when I got the room was smell so bad and dirty so I had to change the room which is uncomfortable for me since I was travelling and tired. Third the breakfast was not included and was not mentioned on the description when I booked. Fourth the parking is terrible so I felt like I’m getting wrapped I had to pay 20$ every night for parking since I got towed first night and I paid more than 120$ to return the car. Last when start raining the selling was leaking in our clothes and I had to move again to different room. Overall I’m so sad to get this experience from Hilton.
